Potion Punch 2+ brings the hit sequel to the Apple Arcade library, offering an entirely ad-free and microtransaction-free version of the magical restaurant sim. Join Lyra, a determined young alchemist, and her mentor Noam on an epic quest to cure a mysterious 'gnomified' condition. As a traveling shopkeeper, you’ll manage a variety of shops—from the color-mixing Potion Café to the rune-carving Enchantment Shop and the sizzling Dragon Grill. The Arcade version includes all premium content, rebalanced progression that removes the need for energy or paid gems, and support for high-fidelity spatial audio. With hundreds of levels, unique hero abilities to master, and a humorous story filled with quirky fantasy tropes, it’s a perfect blend of strategy and frantic fun for players of all ages.
The core of the Potion Café is subtractive color mixing. To serve a Green potion, mix Blue and Yellow; for Orange, mix Red and Yellow; and for the elusive Brown potion, combine all three primary colors. In the Arcade version, use the 'Worker Ability' Muradin early to prevent your fish from burning, allowing you to focus entirely on the more complex layered potion orders. If you're stuck on a level requiring high coin counts, prioritize upgrading your shop's 'Decor' first to increase customer patience and tip size.
Beyond the kitchen, you must manage your crew of Heroes. Each hero has a passive ability, like freezing timers or auto-collecting coins, which can be leveled up through gameplay. Periodically, you can throw 'Gacha Parties' to attract legendary customers to your shop. Unlike the standard version, the Arcade edition allows you to throw these parties using only in-game gold, making it much easier to unlock the full cast of 30+ unique characters and their respective storylines.
A launch bug sometimes causes the tutorial to hang if your device language isn't set to English. Ensure you have updated to version 1.0.42 or later, which specifically fixes this worker-interference issue.
