Best mobile escape game
Tue Mar 04 2025 jenkrenbarI love this game. It is my absolute favorite mobile escape game. The ads are not obnoxious, and really just there in case you need extra help. I think I downloaded and played through all of the available games until maybe level 30 was released and check at least once a week to see if new levels have dropped. When a new couple levels drop it feels like such a treat and I gobble them up too fast. This was one of my first mobile escape games I played, I’ve played most of the rest since then and it’s still in my top 3, and stands out as being this most satisfying to play when you’ve got like 10 min to kill. I love how each room is designed. The controls are easy to use and make other games feel super clunky and awkward in comparison. The puzzles are interesting with a nice proportion of easy medium and hard, simple and complex puzzles for each room. And it feels so satisfying and yet so sad to finish a room because it’s one less room you get to do in the future :(
The only ones i think are better are the games the Room I, II and III, and house of da Vinci games - which are like being in an actual escape room. But this one is a close follow up to those big league games! If you’re looking for more of this game (I wish there were 1000 tiny escape rooms) The game Exits is like a less well made version of this game but they have many many rooms and update it pretty regularly with new stuff
Wow
Sun Jul 14 2024 alisiaglasierWhat can I say. This is the best mobile game I have ever had the honor of playing. Just the right amount of difficulty, enough ease to have fun before bed. I even got my estranged husband hooked on this game. We play together, and now, our marriage and intimate life has never been stronger. This is truly a game for couples as it tests your teamwork skills. Makes me want to get stuck in a tiny room with him, but I wont elaborate further. Now, don’t get me wrong, I love this game, such is why I have rated it 5 stars. But, there is a big problem with false advertising here. I downloaded this experience (feels wrong to refer to it as a “game” as it has made such an impact on me), with the false assumption that there would be 50 tiny rooms, as advertised! Only to get to level 31 and see “under development”! My disappointment is immeasurable and my day has been ruined. I will eagerly await an update and will be severely let down if there are no more tiny rooms to come. That said, thank you to the developers. You do amazing things.
I have an issue with the following puzzles
Mon May 13 2024 Create nickname1998*Spoilers* Chapter 6 candle puzzle: Not sure who thought that was a good choice or how that is sensible. I looked a tutorial up and it still barely worked when I KNEW what I was doing Chapter 9: it’s not realistic whatsoever to take the dial off of a microwave with a screwdriver and have it fit perfectly as a tv switch. By that thought the screwdriver or even a hand should be able to twist it. Chapter 10: not sure who WIRE cutters are supposed to open a metal box? That doesn’t really make any sense and at that point I’d probably just be able to pry it open with my hands. Chapter 12: you NEED to get a mail gun to open up a folded piece of paper??? Seriously? Also I’m not good at math so I got stuck there but ig that’s my fault. Chapter 13: I looked under the chair but really, seeing a slightly different color and having that be such a big component is dumb. 15: I’ll admit the computer password was clever and I just didn’t get it but that was good. 17: 50% off isn’t included in the already scanned price?? Obviously a store would pre-deduct the cost. 18: arrow puzzle gave you no reason to ever try that. 19: who in their right mind would ever think of looking at that and thinking “mirror image”..20: the safe v5 puzzle was kinda weird answer but other than that it was fun level. 21: again the math puzzle on the board was dumb. 25: I’m not even going to go into the amount of issues with this puzzle.
Does not meet expectations
Mon May 26 2025 KathrynQuerinI downloaded this game because I love Tiny Room Stories: Town Mystery and this game was on that homepage as a new recommended game. I really hate to give it two stars because it is not a two star game but coming from Town Mystery it sure feels that way. The point and click mechanics in Town Mystery are great. It recognizes my touch and does what I want it to do. 50 Tiny Room Escape’s (50TRE) mechanics are very touchy and feel very sensitive, when I am trying to tap something the whole screen shakes as if I am trying to turn the screen but am not swiping far enough. If Town Mystery has ads I wouldn’t be able to confirm that because if there was; they were so short and far between it didn’t even feel like there was ads. 50TRE has ads after what feels like every level. The other problem I have with 50TRE is the hint button. I clicked the hint button thinking there might be a confirm button or info box but NO! Instead it automatically took the 100 coins and instantly put the hint on the screen. I did not need it at that point but since I am new to this game I just wanted to familiarize myself with all the features. Oh, and don’t even get me started on the hugely obnoxious back button. I am very willing to edit this review for the better in the future if some improvements get made.
One of My Fav Games of All Time
Thu Sep 05 2024 EpicGamer404This app really is one of my favorites, through the years from angry birds to now. There is evidently a lot of time and effort put into it. Interactions are very logical and easy to perform (e.g., switching room view seeing two walls at a time, clicking and zooming hierarchy, interactions such as swiping and pressing buttons, examining items up close and performing interactions). The puzzles are also very well thought out and really do remind me of an escape room (e.g. thematic puzzles, visual connections, logical ordering, subtasks in larger puzzles). There were only a few instances where I was completely stuck and relied on a hint because I felt there wasn’t enough info, though it could of course just be me. Really great game and am really looking forward to the next levels to be released! Also, great replay value. I got addicted really quick, totally would recommend!
Surprisingly good with one issue
Mon Jul 14 2025 gr i ff i nBecause of the quality of a lot of newer games on the App Store, I was surprised at how creative a lot of the puzzles were and how it feels like there was actually a decent amount of time and care put into it. I think my biggest issue is that some of the puzzles, or hidden objects feel almost impossible to solve/find in a reasonable amount of time and in a logical way. The biggest example I can remember is an object being on a tiny discolored spot on the bottom of a chair, which I’m guessing very few people found without hints. I’m not sure if this is deliberate to encourage players to buy coins, or watch ads, but it’s a bit frustrating to have to use a hint on so many levels, especially when the hint basically just blatantly gives you the solution. Maybe I’m just not as smart as I think I am and maybe you already do this, but in my opinion in the future all of the levels should be playtested by at least one other person to ensure the puzzles follow a clear logical path.
OK, but not as good as the original
Thu Feb 29 2024 PhyrexianMyrI really enjoyed the original Tiny Room, it was fun and really made my brain work. I loved the overall mystery and the sci-fi nature of it all. It was very clean and I was super excited for the second game. I think the new game is OK. For me personally, I enjoyed the horizontal game style. Also, I feel like they dumped it down. Like the interface is meant for children. Things are over explained, for example, when you tap on an object, it tells you what it is, even if it’s not relevant. The original game didn’t have as much text or explanation and that’s what made it so fun. And I enjoyed it over storyline and intricate puzzles relating back to the story. Mini games are great but I wish they made a sequel to the original instead of changing everything. It just doesn’t feel like the true extension of the original game. The bones are there, but everything else is not. I hope the next game is better. However, if you are not familiar with the first game, I think it’s fine. I just missed the quality of the the original so it makes it hard for me to enjoy.
Love the game but…
Tue Feb 06 2024 seymourkI’ve played though the town mystery game, plus the additional chapters and I loved it. I was so excited when I heard you were coming out with another game and immediately pre ordered it. I waited for months but that was expected as it was just announced, I just waited patiently. The day the game came out I was so excited I started playing right away. I paid for the ad free option plus extra keys when I ran out. I was shocked to see the when I got to level 20 that’s all that was there, but it said “under construction”. I assumed that they just had a few more bugs to work out and would have the full game a week later, but here we are months later and still nothing. I still love the game, but kind of upset. I would have rather waited longer for it to be announced and released full game like this. Honestly feel scammed😕🤷🏼♀️
Alright, Idle Play
Mon Nov 11 2024 GreeneKueeneThe game begins with you having fifty/fifty keys. Each level is fifteen keys. This means that you get to play three rooms before you need to: buy keys (various options) or watch an advertisement (five keys). I have done nothing to get more keys, so I will not get to play more. The few rooms were a fun idle play for the few minutes it took to go through. I leave three stars because I do not have interest in games that limit how much I can play (such as this requiring keys to progress, rather than ‘endless rooms’ that I play through until I decide to be done, or other games having ‘lives’ that refill after z hours, etcetera). The imagery is good, sound can be turned off, and the three levels I got to try were all positives. I do not know if the keys refill themselves over time. Worth the download if you want an advertisement after each room and are willing to buy into the game frequently.
Very fun with minor flaws
Mon Sep 09 2024 LunaBellLuI truly enjoy puzzle games, and I was a big fan of the Tiny Room Escape story of the abandoned town. This is what turned me to try the 50 rooms game. The puzzles are clever and really stretch my mind. I’d say the only flaw to this game are the hints. Once in awhile, I give in and buy a hint, the problem is there is no explanation as to HOW they got that answer.
There’s no description like “To achieve this answer, you should do this and this.” Only a couple times did I see it, but mostly there wasn’t. Even staring at the hint I could not understand as to HOW they got to that point. How there was any way to find that answer. It’s these specific puzzles that make me wonder if they purposely made it impossible in order to spend coins and either spend money or watch ads to get more coins. I’m not saying that I’m so smart that I know this is the answer, but with no explanation, it’s hard to tell.
