I'm a fan of Wolfgang Kramer’s designs, and 6 Takes! translates well to the digital format. It’s a game of numbers and probability that feels a bit like a more intellectual version of Uno. You’re trying to outthink your opponents, but the simultaneous card reveal means there’s always a delightful element of chaos. It’s a thinking man’s card game, which I appreciate.

The app itself is a bit bare-bones. It’s functional, but the interface looks like it was designed by an engineer—not a designer. It’s clean, but it lacks flair. The AI is decent, providing a reasonable challenge for solo play, but the real fun is in the multiplayer. It’s one of those games where you can clearly see the strategy, but you can still get absolutely wrecked by a single bad turn.
