Agricola: All Creatures Big and Small is a masterclass in how to condense a complex board game into a tight, 1v1 mobile experience. Focusing specifically on the animal husbandry aspect of the original Agricola, this version strips away the stress of feeding workers and replaces it with a rewarding focus on space management and livestock breeding. It’s a 'worker placement' game at its purest, where every one of your three turns per round feels like a high-stakes decision.

The digital implementation by Twin Sails is excellent. The UI is clean, making it easy to see your farm's status at a glance, and the inclusion of cross-platform multiplayer and a global leaderboard provides plenty of longevity. For fans of the board game, it’s a faithful recreation; for newcomers, it’s a perfect entry point into the world of Uwe Rosenberg’s strategy games. It’s quiet, thoughtful, and deeply satisfying.
