★★★★★ Fun game, optimized for ads :(

Like others here, I followed an ad for the game and found it surprisingly fun. I never mind paying a few bucks for a game, so I happily paid 2.99 to remove the ads. Unfortunately, it doesn’t really remove them. First, you still have to watch ads if you want power ups, etc. Not my favorite thing, but…whatever. That’s a business decision by the developers. What really irks me is when you have lost a level, it immediately reverts to the next screen where you can watch an ad to revive or skip a level. Coincidentally (wink, wink, nudge, nudge) the button for watching that ad is RIGHT IN THE SAME PLACE as the button you use constantly for the game. So about 75% of the time, I wind up accidentally clicking the ad button when I don’t want to. So after I paid to remove ads, I’m constantly turning on new ads. Here’s a note to anybody paying for those ads: I don’t watch them. I close the app and restart the app. So you are paying for clicks that you aren’t really getting. Here’s a note to the game developers: instead of trying to squeeze a few fractions of a penny out of me by duping me into clicking on those ads, double your price. I’d happily pay another 2.99 to have a game that gives me the parts I enjoy without trying to trick me into the stuff I don’t.
