Very cool with compromises
Wed Jul 23 2025 DdteamnoeJust imagining that I’d be able to play a full length AC game on my iPad is an insane thought however there is some time before it is the preferred way to play. The game crashes quite often and is a bit of a burden to set up to run correctly with little lag even on an M4 device. I bought the game as a novelty, thinking it would be something to do on a long plane ride however, I ended up completing the game despite its flaws. I am very happy to have made the purchase and hope for more optimized games to be ported in the future.
How do I get a refund at this point?
Sat Feb 01 2025 Slender-maneI paid for this game's mobile version despite having the PS5 version. I wanted it on the go for school or volunteering. The game worked until last week. My email can't be verified, and I can't even log into the game through Ubisoft. I tried to put in a claim but can't log in, and there is no number you can call directly. At this point, I don't even care why. Like, seriously. I've played Ubisoft since the early 2000s, when you could load the game and play. If I could sacrifice the perks and updates, I would for a game that works from the beginning. I don't remember what I paid for the full version of this game, but it was my last “empty investment.” This was probably the best AC, as I served two tours in Iraq, and it was nice to see what it might have been like before we razed it to the ground along with Afghanistan for 20 years. When I got deployed in 2004 and 2005, I'm pretty sure this was when I could buy a Ubisoft game, and it worked. Twenty years later, I can't even access what I paid for, nor can I get someone (human) on the phone. So, like my kinfolks would say,” You can have that ‘lil $20’ or whatever I paid for this because it's the last you'll ever get out of me.” If I ever play anything else on Ubi, it's because I can stream it, or it is free. Good luck and good riddance.
It has great potential, but……

No no noThis could have something wonderful but with a partial lack of controller support I’m not sure But no matter what controller I use (Blue tooth, ucbc) there are issues with movement. Eventually, the game will just have my character go wherever it wants to or the camera will continue to spin. I know I don’t have stick drift on my controller in fact I only use the Backbone Pro which has anti-drift . Also at times My character completely freezes And I can’t move, walk, run or anything. I can only pan the camera as if its in photo mode Until I pause the game and then unpause it. Then it’s fine. These are not minor issues. These are huge. I only gave it two stars instead of one because this game looks absolutely beautiful and when it works, it’s a dream to play. Please fix this your sales are already down on this. Don’t be like EA.

Just kidding! Whats your ubisoft account? Dont remember it because you are aren't home? Too bad! Make a new one! You can not play unless you are signed in, meaning you can not play this single player game, in offline mode. Now, Im already bugged, but this is nothing new. Whatever, use my apple account. Lets play. Just kidding again! Hope you enjoy a 5 minute unskippable cutscene! (Even though theres an option to skip, its greyed out?)
I havent even seen the gameplay yet, but I read that it runs like garbage... but who cares! Because spending this much time on a game just to get it started IS NOT WORTH IT. Can you even pirate mobile games, especially iOS? Why do we need constant online access. THIS MAKES NO SENSE AND I REFUSE TO SUPPORT IT. GO AWAY, UBISOFT.
All this on a mobile device!? iPad Pro 4 still unoptimized
Wed Dec 18 2024 Louka1992The game is fully featured just optimized for mobile. On my iPhone 16 Pro Max it runs great. On my iPad Pro M4 it runs okay. I only have 2 specific criticisms with the game. On the iPad Pro 13 M4 inch it doesn’t run full screen. There’s significant black bars. In the control editor the movement virtual joystick is locked. That’s annoying. Otherwise I’m impressed.
Better than I imagined, but not perfect
Mon Mar 10 2025 Fed010I played the entire game on my iPad and it ran fine on medium settings. The game can crash, but it doesn’t happen too often for it to be a big issue. Sometimes there’s a glitch when you play on controller where you can’t select anything in menus, so you gotta restart the game. Other than that, the game is worth it on sale.
Keeps Crashing on Continue
Mon Dec 30 2024 RondoBlud24The game runs decent, and personally don’t mind the mobile controls and graphics as it was meant to fit on a mobile device, but up until the recent update, this app is completely unusable because of constant crashes on “continue or load game”even on the lowest settings I can’t get back in, Maybe you should go back a step before adding such a drastic update so the app is at least playable
Great Game, Amazing Port, One Major Flaw
Sun Apr 13 2025 jkeitzIt’s amazing a game like this can be ported so well to mobile. The game plays extraordinary well, and it’s a blast to play. There is one major flaw, however. You have to download many gigabytes of data EVERY TIME YOU WANT TO PLAY. I have no problem with downloading data for the game, but I want to do it once. Every time you want to play, you have to wait 20+ minutes for the whole game to download again. This makes it not worth playing.
Decent mobile port
Tue Jan 21 2025 Ohatley8This assassin‘s Creed is awesome despite being a mobile port quite a lot of it has been cut back due to hardware limitations, but the fact that we can get this to run on a mobile device is a great thing, but I also have to call Ubisoft out for corporate greed, I myself MA Ubisoft plus subscriber, which means that I get all of their games plus DLC so when I try to pick up where I left off from my Xbox on the phone, I was stripped of all my DLC . So buyer beware.
Bring more AC game to Apple Devices!
Tue May 27 2025 NOBB_lss513131Second AC game (first is Unity, playing Shade on PC as well). Runs OKAY on iPad Pro M4. High graphic with 30 FPS most of the time. Sometimes battle scene is laggy and more laggy when connecting to power charger (even with cooling pack). 2-hour play can drain your battery life down to 20%.
Please bring more AC game to iOS!
