The 'Empty Tube' Rule

Always try to keep at least one tube empty for as long as possible. An empty tube is your 'wildcard' that allows you to shift large chunks of colors around. If you fill every tube with at least one ball, you drastically limit your options and risk reaching a 'No More Moves' state.
