I’ve never understood the appeal of digital bingo. It takes a game that is already 100% luck and removes the only fun part—the social atmosphere of a bingo hall. Bingo Island tries to compensate for this with a 'tropical' theme and enough flashing lights to cause a seizure. It’s a sensory nightmare designed to keep your brain in a loop of dopamine hits so you'll buy more 'tickets' when you inevitably run out.
The 'social' features are a joke. It’s mostly just clicking buttons to send automated gifts to people you’ll never talk to. And the monetization is predatory. You hit a wall very quickly where you either wait hours to play again or open your wallet. It’s a 38 because it technically works and the art is professional, but it’s a gambling-adjacent trap masquerading as a 'family' game. If you want to play bingo, buy a paper card and go to your local church hall. You'll have more fun and probably lose less money.
