North Tower: Merge TD Defense is a clever hybrid that successfully mashes up three different genres: Merge, Tower Defense, and Idle. The core mechanic of merging identical weapons to level them up is satisfyingly simple, but the tactical placement of those turrets is where the real strategy lies. It keeps you busy without being overwhelming.

The game also includes a simulation layer where you develop land and mines to generate resources, which feeds back into your tower upgrades.
