I usually find sliding puzzles tedious, but Blockwick does enough with its 'tangled' block mechanics to keep me engaged. It’s quiet, focused, and doesn't annoy me with unnecessary timers or flashing 'buy gems' buttons. The aesthetics are minimalist and clean, which I prefer. It gets incredibly difficult in the later stages—perhaps too much so—but it’s one of the more competent puzzle games on the platform. It’s a thinking man’s game, which is a rarity these days.

Clearing the Path

Often, the block you *think* you need to move is being blocked by a neutral grey block. Focus on moving these obstacles into corner 'pockets' first to give your colored blocks the room they need to slide across the board.
