Dinsun here. I’ve seen enough Sudoku clones to last a lifetime, but Hexologic managed to catch my eye with its clean presentation and hexagonal pivot. It’s not trying to reinvent the wheel, but it polishes it until it shines. The mechanics are simple—summing up numbers within hexes—and it never gets so difficult that you'll want to throw your iPad across the room.
That said, for a veteran gamer, it might feel a bit too 'safe.' The difficulty curve is a gentle slope rather than a mountain climb. It’s a fine way to spend an afternoon if you want to unwind, but don't expect it to occupy your brain for weeks. It’s a competent, visually soothing logic exercise that knows exactly what it is and doesn't overstay its welcome.
