'ts awright
Fri Nov 05 2010 mynicknamewasstolen!!!Difficult to control, and flicking the ball into the goal is a 50/50...WHEN...the ball is actually released when I flick. Otherwise, she just wanders off to the side. But in all honesty, I only tried it less than a minute...barely enough time to master it.
Maybe its psychological. In real life, I always ran from the ball when it came to me. Hey! Don't laugh! Those balls are hard against frail fifth-graders. Plus, it gave the other kids an excuse to deliberately kick me in the shins, even when the ball was clear across the field. *shudder*. Teachers didn't care. It just gave them a chance to look the other way. Complaining to the principal just got me thrown out of the office. I HATE being a gym teacher!
Four stars for benefit of doubt. Otherwise, it would be two stars, if the problems were without doubt on their end, and not my shortcomings.
Good graphics, I have to admit. Download. You might like it. After all, these chop chop games ARE better than their competitors. And it's not their fault that I'm a geek.

At first, I thought this would be like CC Hockey...
Fri Nov 05 2010 Guycom93I was wrong, CC Hockey is superior in my opinion (naturally because it costs a dollar when this is free). Although the two games look exactly the same, the gameplay is a little different. That being said, the first thing I noticed is it's too easy to steal the ball which makes navigating the ball through the field a bit more of a challenge (this being bad varies to the gamer). The major issue is it's near impossible to make a goal. I can't kick from afar because the defense or goalie will block it and if I get too close, the goalie will steal the ball. Another flaw is none of the rules of Soccer apply here. If the ball goes beyond the goal, the goalie will just teleport to it and if the ball goes to the sides, it just bounces off an invisble barrier and the players can go past it too so there might as well be no line. The game is solid but there's just too many minor issues to get a 3/5. After 5 minutes of sudden death, I just gave up on the game and went back to playing Hockey.
Meh...
Sun Aug 29 2010 TheNicknamelessThis application could do with some additions. I personally got it because I thought that it would be as nice an app as Chop Chop Ninja, which has brilliant graphics, is easy to use, and is very original. This game however lacks those things. In comparison to Chop Chop Ninja, this game is pixel-y, harder to follow and use, and is kind of generic in terms of soccer games. I think this would be much better if it did not insist on making the soccer players 3D, and instead switched from the game to things like off-sides/penalty kicks where that would be a small game in the game, or a chance to be the goalie, and had the option to edit players/teams. This is a fun game, but not really up to snuff when compared with the excellence of Chop Chop Ninja.
Nicely Done
Fri Nov 05 2010 CodyTH53This game is very well made. The controls are simple to remember once you go through the three tutorials. The only complaint I have is that you have to lift your finger, and then flick to kick the ball, but that should be fine once I get used to it. The soccer games are just different enough each time that it doesn't get repetitive, but similar enough that you can easily play whenever. The only thing that could make it better is 2-player over wifi or Bluetooth, but overall this game is very much worth your money!
Chop chop soccer is back!
Sun Aug 28 2011 Wesley824I've been like the other people who wrote reviews waiting for when they were going to fix this game. Well I got this game way back when it was free. I was just waiting for the new update, because it was crashing and not working. After awhile I checked back on the game I see gamerzion finally fixed it, and it's awesome. So worth the wait! Graphics are sweet, controls are simple as can be just a finger to move around your character and to kick the soccer ball just flick your finger. And the best part is I got this game when it was free! I got so lucky! Thanks gamerzion! :)
Really wanted to like this but controls were a dealbreaker
Sat Nov 06 2010 clubownerThis game has style and some pretty graphics. It's 3 on 3 soccer and to dribble you simply drag your finger when in possession of the ball. To pass or shoot you just flick in a direction - the longer the flick the more power in the pass/shot.
I really wanted to enjoy this game because it seemed really fun after my first match began. However I was quickly frustrated by the flick controls - it just seemed quite random and nothing like what I thought I was doing based on the flick motion.
Hopefully I get used to it and overcome it, or it is improved in an update, because right now I'm not inclined to want to persist with it.
what???
Wed Jul 13 2011 fix somethingfor all of you saying that this app crashes everytime- u should check ur ipod gen. i have a 4-gen and it works perfectly. either that or leave and go in the app again. my only complaint is it's more glitchy then last time. it takes a long time to kickoff. TIP-bring the ball foreward so you are 1 on 1 with the goalie then shoot it it works great and notice it says fixes crashes on 4 gen i hope u haters know how to read. great game but should be $1 like before a few months ago.
p.s. yea i no i messed up my nickname
p.p.s. reviews that wants to respond 2 me u can calll me ray or noodles :P
Needs Work
Sun Sep 19 2010 tfloydmewsI think you made the game worse with your last update with the "improved controls" or someting like that. It won't even shoot the ball when I flick it towards the goal every time and it won't slide tackle every time I try to. The guys just sit there until like five attemts later or the ball gets stolen or the other team scores. Please put in a joystick and buttons option in the controls or improve the touch contols because the flicking doesn't work all that well for me it seems. This game is pretty fun otherwise.
New Control System Please?
Fri Nov 05 2010 Boggy4233The game concept, graphics, and other factors are all strongly in favor of this game, but this control scheme is a problem because you can't see what's going on half the time. A virtual joystick in one of the bottom corners would probably be a more elegant control scheme, and maybe with and option to use the accelerometer to some degree. Also, online play should be added, but I won't dock a star for that since it's an early release and all the chop chop games have been supported with additional releases
