Sun Feb 11 2024 GamerAppleUPDATE: I adore this game, having completed over 800 levels and spent around $250. However, I despise the bugs that hinder my gameplay. Firstly, the game doesn't always load, and secondly, it crashes during match 3! Developers, please fix these issues; these bugs might turn me away from the game. I have a great device, and not many games cause problems, but for some reason, I frequently encounter bugs!💞
This game is way better than Candy Crush Saga, Homescapes, and Royal Match! I fell in love with this game from the first minute. Firstly, it's really fun to draw pictures and make pots with your own hands. You can create any design for your picture and it will be placed in the location, which is much more interesting than what I've seen in other games. The developers came up with this and I think it's really cool for developing creativity. You can make any picture, choose colors, and it will all be with your unique design, and most likely it won't have any analogs. I've never seen anything like this before. Secondly, I love the main character, he speaks so cool, like I'm playing with a real Italian, I find it very fun, I even speak these phrases with my kids. It's a lot of fun. And of course, there are realistic interiors, they are so interesting that every time I play, I wonder what the new mini-game will be. But there are also problems, the game has a lot of bugs. I play for about 20 minutes a day and encounter bugs every day!!!!!!

It’s surely not ideal, there are issues with productivity, but after all it’s fun! The levels are not too frustrating, and the design aspect is so much fun. I love being able to create my own interiors and exteriors, and the graphics are really beautiful. The DIY mini games are also a great addition and make the game even more enjoyable. The game can be a bit repetitive at times, but it's still a good game. I played Gardenscapes for 5 years and it gradually was getting more and more boring. Yet DIY Projects offers a fresh experience. Overall, I recommend giving this game a try if you're a fan of the match-3 genre.

Sun Dec 03 2023 SwamithaWhen I first started this game, I found it enjoyable and began playing it more consistently. I did not have any issues initially until I participated in my first competition for money. When I started the game, I played for a prolonged amount of time and was well ahead of the other players. Suddenly, in the 24 hours before the competition ended, a few “players” came from behind and surpassed me within a very short, unattainable amount of time. On the majority of levels, it is only possible to win one trophy at a time. On the super hard or hard levels, it is possible to earn multiple trophies, but these are very sporadic in the game. These supposed players would win 3 to 5 trophies every single time and within seconds. Even though I had purchased and utilized all boosters available, I still had no chance to beat them. Also suspiciously, whenever I started playing, no matter the time of day, they would start playing as well. They also seem to stop when I stopped. It is evident this company is employing false tactics to take advantage of its customers. It is disappointing and dishonest behavior the creators should be ashamed of. Do NOT waste your time or money on this game as I did.
Not what I expected
Thu Sep 07 2023 mb27onlineThe ad shows that you get to make a vase and use a lathe to make a small stool. I thought why not give it a try since it looked like fun. Problem is having to play a matching game to be able to do that, along with a very bizarre form of painting that I didn’t like whatsoever. Bottom line is that it’s not the game that it’s made out to be with the weirdest style and art I have ever seen that looks like a child painting, and it’s hideous.
When you show a game that looks like you’re going to make a face and make a stool or something, make it about making that stool or that vase. It’s that simple it’s not a difficult concept to grasp. And if that matching game is part of the game, then make sure that you advertise that part of it too. Otherwise, it is a form of false advertising called half advertising, and that’s not right. If you’re going to advertise a game, you make, then advertise all aspects of it. if not, you’re going to have a whole lot of upset people wanting to play your game and then quitting without going too far into it just like I have. Advertise properly, and you’ll get better than one star reviews.. Quite frankly, if it was an option, I would have given a zero star review.
False Advertising
Mon Aug 21 2023 MererivI downloaded this game after seeing an ad but I’m deleting it after what happened. The game itself is pretty fun and I like how you can pick the designs.
They had a contest where you could win a “real $1000”. I’m currently out of work and I could really use that money. I played for like 12 hours straight. I was about 200 points higher than anyone else I was competing against. Within a matter of MINUTES, the AI bot shot up to be higher in the competition than me. It is literally impossible to score that many points without manipulating the game. This really bothers me because they lied and said they would pay somebody money and then they manipulate the game so no one will actually win it. Meanwhile, they are boosting their game play up in the App Store due to me playing so much to win that prize. I could have spent that time doing literally anything else. I feel played and manipulated and I will be deleting the game after this because clearly the developers of this game have no integrity and only care about themselves and their profits.
Just about ready to be done
Wed Oct 25 2023 DlmbhI loved this game at the start. It was better than any of the other matching games but now. I am at level 1089 and every level is ridiculously hard. I consider myself to be pretty decent at these games and lately it’s been nothing but frustration. I’ve been stuck on this level for four straight days and it’s just not fun. If I was stuck on another level, and finally got through it , I would breathe a sigh of relief only to find the next level or the one after that just as hard. Other games, give you a chance to watch an ad to get another life or to get some more moves, but you don’t even off of that, so I’m done. I’ve read your answers to other people that are making the same complaint and all you do is say that you’re constantly adjusting the game based on Feedback but apparently that is not the case because I am not the who is saying this. It’s too bad, I actually really enjoyed it.
Cool design game!
Thu Apr 27 2023 GobldegoockI'm not usually one to write reviews, but I had to share my love for DIY Projects! As someone who's been burned out on mobile games lately, this one was a welcome surprise. The match-3 game is challenging, but not so hard that it's frustrating. And the design aspect is what really sets it apart. I love being able to create my own interiors and exteriors, and the graphics are so beautiful and stylish. But the real highlight for me is the DIY mini games. They're so creative and fun, and I've even learned a few new crafting skills! I used to play games like Homescapes and Gardenscapes, but I got tired of the same old thing. DIY Projects is a fresh take on the genre and one that I'll be playing for a long time.
Lives
Thu Nov 16 2023 I love my dog❤️🐶Well first off this game is super fun. The levels aren’t frustrating and creating the art is relaxing. I would have given it five stars if it wasn’t for when I run out of lives I can’t get any more. The game tells me I have to wait at least 20 or so minutes to get another life and then sends me a notification when 1 life is restored but when I go to play the game it says that I have 0 lives and I have to wait another 20 minutes. I thought it was a glitch so I deleted and redownloaded the game. When I ran out of lives I left the game for a few hours and when I returned I still had no lives. Could you please fix the life situation so I can play this game happily once again.
DIY PROJECTS
Fri Dec 08 2023 CharloHeartHonestly, the games they give you to play to do the diy projects are not too bad. But one thing I can’t stand is that you can work your way up to where you have a lot of boosters and coins which help you defeat each level, but their numbers in how many coins you have to get those boosters and such or if you don’t want to start all over when you’re even just one block(square) away from beating that level is just insane and very discouraging. It’s made me want to delete it altogether. But I guess if you’re good at it, you may not think of it as a big deal. The DIY projects they have aren’t as I had hoped they’d be. They look like something a toddler would and could do. But overall, it just depends on each person individually.
Okay game, needs some improvements, not much DIY
Sun Sep 24 2023 VespereusThe levels are too hard after 100 and way too hard after 200. You have you play them again and again to totally randomly get the right combos to be able to beat them. Many of the levels just feel impossible.
The actual DIY aspect is not that fun. I wish it were more interactive. All the paintings are super ugly with not very many options. Putting the furniture together is just tapping two or three screws into place. Sculpting something out of clay or stone is too simple and easy, impossible to mess up. There’s no challenge. And all the projects take tons of stars (and of course more as time goes on).
Could be fun but is mostly just another candy crush.
