If you've played one 3D object sorting game, you've played them all. Jam City has simply slapped a Disney coat of paint on a mechanic that’s been done to death on the App Store. The production value is high—I'll give them that—but there isn't a single new idea here. You tap objects, they fly into a slot, and you clear the pile. It’s mindless, designed for short attention spans and children.
As a gamer who appreciates actual design innovation, I find this trend of 'sorting' games tedious. The inclusion of 'iconic items' like Woody's boots or Mickey's ears is a transparent attempt to trigger a dopamine hit through brand recognition rather than through satisfying gameplay. It runs fine and looks nice, but it's a hollow experience. It’s essentially digital chores with a Disney soundtrack.
