My overall opinion on the game and testing
Fri Nov 01 2024 My problems with WiFiAfter playing it for about a week now I have seen some stuff in this game which is it is pretty pay to win because of the rings and yes you can’t marry them but it’s very expensive it’s about 15 US dollars just to marry one character of your course which is just wild over all the game is great if you know what I mean heh heh but really the game is more pay to win that free to play I tried 7 day without money and 7 with money both of different phones I did see a big change that the power level is a lot high for the payed for account and it’s very easy to gain power is just money which is just not fun but who cares we all know we care about the women and that’s it but it really is more of a good idea to have games that’s not pay to win just so you don’t have to spend money to do better but I still say 5 stars because the game is just fun you have a lot to do and the women are uh something I will say if you want to do better spending money is a better option but you very much can play without spending money I do say this game is worth it because I think it’s fun and will be looking forward into the events and updates they bring if they will even have anymore because it’s been like 11 months seens the last one😐
Good game and great story
Tue Mar 19 2024 matchracer35I love the game actually really like pacing of story line the settings in which each character role is done and most of all the balance with the background music along with everything is done right. As for the draw gacha it’s fair honest and as for specific on how that works need more time to play either way personally playing the game it’s decent no complaints as of yet. Thank you for the developers and everyone who worked on this please don’t drop the ball u have it now and good luck moving forward with the game itself it has potential don’t waste it u guys are doing phenomenal job so far and everyone who made this Thank you
Ch 30 enemies way too strong
Wed Sep 18 2024 orig gangstaI’m enjoying the game, but wanted to talk about an issue,
I can’t win against the enemies in Ch 30. Not even the “boss,” just regular ones. I thought I had a fairly strong team because I ranked top damage in my syndicate in a battle. The problem for me is that the healers in the chapter heal way too much, I can’t out damage their healing. I can sit and watch the whole battle as they heal their own health and each others up to full any time I do decent damage to them, and I can’t kill them before the time limit runs out and I lose. My squad is Mordred, Rie, Baphomet in the front row, and Nightingale, Levia, and Camelia in the back row. I thought maybe I didn’t have enough DPS and added more members and did the replace feature to give them all my previous characters powerups but that didn’t work. I went through and all my squad members were near maxed for how much I can power them up at my level. Hope this gets fixed, I’m not gonna quit over it but I was hoping to get more gacha currency to get more copies of Rie and Mordred before they leave. The game is still fun though, I’m enjoying it.
Auto-Chess with tapping
Sat Mar 16 2024 jsantos1221As far as auto-chess games go, this one you can actually do something during battle, and that’s activate special abilities you can acquire, they’re no even character specific, item specific. Also unlike other auto-chess games, it has actual anime cutscenes for the units special abilities, which is a nice change of pace, but it’s nothing impressive. Epic 7 does the same thing and it has way more to offer in terms of gameplay. One other neat thing it does is streamline the resource gathering. Instead of having to know which stages have which resources to upgrade units, it gives you a shortcut to go there and it will skip the whole battle part too, which is a nice QoL feature. The story is ok, about what I expected, though compared to other games in the genre, it at least gives you a little more substance than usual. Unfortunately I just don’t like these kinds of games, and even if it does go further than other autochess games, these types of games continue to be a subpar experience for me.
Not bad
Sun Feb 11 2024 SargundisOverall pretty good. There are definitely people whaling this game so good luck ranking in the arena. There aren’t divisions so it’s just you and the big boys.
The character designs are top notch, in fact they’re better than most games in the category by a mile, but overall I’m not sure how long I’ll be playing. Gameplay isn’t all that exciting, but then again, that’s not really what any of us are here for. I think if the power scaling was a little better and the shops and different forms of currency and resources weren’t so messy and confusing, it would be a much better experience.
If you’re looking for a more idle collector game, I’m not sure this is the one for you. Its takes a while to run through all the different game modes and even things like leveling up your characters feels tedious, so all things said, quality of life updates will go a very long way and overall I’d recommend the title to most
Almost perfect
Fri May 23 2025 Crafter (0.4.0)With an interesting story that for sure caught me off guard, and simple but fun gameplay that did a lot right, Echocalypse stands out among many of the other gacha games I have played. The gacha system feels so much more generous in giving out characters. You do need to pull more copies of characters to upgrade them, but the game hands out a lot of f2p currency, I had a 2 star ultra rare character on my team pretty fast. The art is fantastic, and the character designs for sure lean towards fanservice, but they all look really good. The only thing truly holding back the game is it feeling very p2w at some points. I never saw another way to get the item needed for oaths outside of paying money for it. So I wasn’t a fan of feeling locked out of things like that. Overall though, the game surprised me and I’m very glad I gave it a shot, one of the better gacha games out there
Forced Review
Sat Jan 20 2024 Kitsune RuriI honestly love the game. It’s fun, the art is gorgeous, the girls are lovely, it has kitsune as well as wolf-girls and cat-girls… there are a lot of good qualities. One of my favorite things is that it allows the player to choose their gender and actually has a separate model, separate dialogue, et c., showing they truly put effort into this aspect… ‘cause yanno, girls like girls the way boys do (sorry, not sorry).
It’s a Gacha game through and through and isn’t very F2P-friendly, but I could tell that before I started and I personally like Gacha games. No problems here, but potential players should be aware.
The main thing I dislike, and someone else pointed this out in a review too, is the lack of ability to control your characters. I get that some people like to just auto through everything, but that’s why auto MODE exists as a concept. I really wish I could at least choose targets and which skill to use (basic or special, the latter still contingent on a full gauge) during battle.
However, that alone wouldn’t have caused me to drop the rating to 4 stars. I got auto-redirected to the App Store with the “Write a Review” box open TWICE. I canceled it the first time. It seems to happen whenever you pull an SSR unit on a featured banner, and that’s not okay. It’s coercive and interrupts gameplay. Please remove this aspect.
AWSOME But something…Wrong
Thu Dec 12 2024 Don nguyen usaI Just downloaded it because I thought this was going to be fun! I checked the reviews of this game and it had a couple of 5 stars or 2 stars but mostly I wasn’t here for the reviews I just wanted to know if this was fun and the first impression was really good And The Charatar are really designing are really good for some reason But the reason I didn’t have it 5 star is that you have to use Your own Money to do a battle and that means if you want to get somewhere you need to waste something.
Well Here’s the point NO HATE Though I don’t hate but I think the game should Remove the watering part to get somewhere But I not gonna fully hate on one game I mean the battles And The Characters Are Really Good or sometimes bad.
Now the point I am waiting for is just that some of the characters have A Design that some of us don’t like.
Unstable potential
Sat Jan 11 2025 Duplicate EntryOverall seems like a pretty decent game, graphics are nice, and it’s pretty standard genre expectations on gameplay and monetization.
But unfortunately, the game is super buggy and crashes very frequently. Worse, after maybe 30 minutes playing, the game lost my progress and forced me to start over from scratch (not sure how this is possible with a live service game?). There’s no way I’m spending any time on a game that deletes my data randomly, so uninstalled after that.
Otherwise, main nitpick is that the game tutorial is super heavy handed, and the game plays on strict rails for the first 10-15 minutes, forcing you to click buttons in the exact order it wants you to, no ability to even look at menus or anything until it decides you’ve earned it. Very annoying, especially since it deleted my data only a few minutes after the tutorial. 😵💫
Good for 15 minutes but nothing more than a waifu collector
Fri Apr 26 2024 DisputatiousdI’m sure this game gets a lot of it’s reviews early on because this game is virtually dead. Way too grindy for F2P and you have to micromanage commissions or your characters get tired and will perform worse. 70% of the characters are useless and it is the only gacha game I have played where rerolling is essential for game progression because if all you pull are tanks and the lowest ranking DPS your experience will be frustrating. To augment your character literally takes all of your daily stamina so progression without spending money feels terrible. You hit a wall relatively fast and the game has too many game modes of which most of them have little value as far as progression. Oh and rates are also terrible with an guaranteed limited unit after 200 pulls and just 50 pulls for any SSR. I definitely see why people stopped playing and covering this game.
