The idea of wielding elemental powers should be exciting. BioShock did it brilliantly nearly twenty years ago. Elemental Gloves takes that concept and strips it of everything that made it interesting—discovery, strategy, and consequence. Here, it’s just a point-and-click shooting gallery with a magical coat of paint. You freeze a guy, you burn a guy, you repeat until the level ends. It’s incredibly repetitive.
The progression is the standard 'incremental' junk where you spend coins to make your fire slightly more red. There’s no challenge because the enemy AI just walks toward you like mindless drones. It’s a game built for people who want to feel powerful without actually doing anything to earn it. The particle effects are okay, I guess, but they can't hide the fact that there’s no game here—just a series of flashing lights and ad triggers.
