I’ve reviewed at least five games that are identical to this. You draw a line, the numbers flow, you take the building. It’s the ultimate 'podcast game'—something to do with your hands while your brain is elsewhere. To its credit, it’s not as aggressively broken as some hyper-casual titles, and the progression system is clear. But there’s zero innovation. It’s the strategy game equivalent of plain oatmeal. It’ll fill a void for five minutes, but you won’t remember it ten minutes later. As a conservative gamer, I find this trend of 'placeholder games' exhausting.
