The archery requires a steady pull and release, while hockey is all about fast, aggressive swipes.

The local multiplayer is the standout feature here. Supporting up to 16 players in a tournament bracket makes it a fantastic party game. The AI opponents also provide a solid challenge for solo players, with three difficulty settings that allow you to grow into the game. While the graphics are simple and clean, the 'HD' polish and smooth animations make the gameplay feel high-quality. It’s a great 'pick up and play' title that re-imagines classic sports for a touch interface perfectly.

The problem with sports compilations is that they usually give you eight ways to be bored. Flick Champions Classic is no exception. While it’s nice to have variety, none of these individual games have enough depth to stand on their own. The controls are universal—flick and hope—which makes the basketball game feel fundamentally the same as the bowling game. There’s no nuance to the physics, and the AI is predictable across the board.

It feels like a budget Wii title from 2007. The 'Classic' moniker seems to be an excuse for the simplistic graphics and repetitive audio. It’s a decent value if you have kids who get bored easily, but for a serious gamer, there’s just no 'meat' on the bone here. You’ll play each sport once, realize there’s no skill ceiling, and never open the app again.
