Dinsun Review
Flow Free is the digital equivalent of a crossword puzzle. It’s been around in various forms since the dawn of the App Store, and this latest iteration doesn't do much to justify its existence over the dozens of clones already available. The logic is sound, and the puzzles are mathematically perfect, which I respect. It’s a pure test of spatial logic without any fluff. I can appreciate a game that knows what it is and doesn't try to distract you with flashy nonsense.
However, it's boring. There's no sense of progression other than a number getting higher. No narrative, no evolving mechanics, just more and more grids. It’s the kind of game you play on a plane when you’ve run out of podcasts. It’s 'fine.' But in an era where puzzle games like The Witness or Baba Is You exist, simply connecting colored dots feels a bit primitive. It’s a pass-time, not an experience.
