Race camera, and overall street race experience
Mon Mar 10 2025 tsk7649It should be a first person driver view, so that the car reacts the way a normal steering would with an analog controller. You know like the game does for Xbox. You should be able to switch to first person view, and you should be able to toggle the drive-by feature. You know the little bullet on and off so you’re not in the middle of a race and then start shooting while you’re steering.
Also, during the street races at the Wang car dealership, or any of the race scenes it should not matter whether or not you directly hit that orange see-through marker because you’re simulating actual street racing, which means you’re bobbing and weaving and moving into the other lane so long as you’re going the right way it shouldn’t matter whether or not you hit that marker. I realize that that was an issue. After moving to the other side of one of the highways and not getting counted as remaining in in first place, but peeing placed in last place even if I’m in front of the vehicles
There are some issues
Sun Dec 17 2023 Dan Jackson12There are definitely some issues with this version of the game. For starters, there are some significant differences between this version, and the other mobile version. This version crashes a lot, and as somebody with an iPhone 14 Pro Max, that is not acceptable. There simply isn't a reason for this app to crash on launch. Do you guys even test the apps before you ship them?
Another thing that the mobile version has is the ability to auto aim when shooting cops. This remaster has it, but it's so much worse than in the other mobile version because you can't choose whether to do a headshot or a body-shot. Part of what made the mobile version fun is that you can just point at a Ballas head and watch him explode into a million pieces (Grove4L!!) but it's a bit harder on this version.
Another thing that's buggy is the autosave. Like when I close the app, I expect to be put into the exact same scenario when I reload the game. Sometimes this happens, sometimes I'm just placed at the last safehouse, or at the last checkpoint of the last mission I was playing. This is really frustrating because I alreafy completed that mission and I don't want to play it again. So then CJ has to be taken to a save house, which defeats the whole purpose of autosave.
I could go on, but there's a lot of buggy features in this app and I want to wait until the Developer response before I submit more.
Bug in “Burning Desire” Mission – Denise Doesn’t Go Home
Sat Dec 28 2024 EddT12I’ve encountered a recurring issue with the “Burning Desire” mission in GTA: San Andreas that significantly affects gameplay. Toward the end of the mission, when Denise is supposed to go home after being rescued, she doesn’t. Instead, she starts randomly fighting people nearby, completely ignoring the scripted mission flow.
To make matters worse, after finishing her impromptu street brawl, she gets back into my car instead of heading into her house, leaving the mission unresolved. This behavior seems to break the immersion and prevent the mission from ending as intended, which is frustrating, especially since the mission otherwise plays out smoothly.
If possible, I’d appreciate a fix to ensure Denise follows the correct sequence—getting out of the car and going home after being dropped off. Whether this is a scripting issue or a rare bug triggered under specific conditions, addressing it would make the mission much more enjoyable and less frustrating.
Great Game one issue for me personally (if you have the same problem)

Feelz like I’m watching my brother play SA on the ps2 back in the day( nostalgia Vibez not the graphics).. it works completely fine with the backbone controller.. my only issue with the game is at random moments while I’m driving (any vehicle: including bicycles) the vehicle will stop while I’m pressing the acceleration button (RT on the back bone) then I’ll have to tap the trigger multiple times for the vehicle to move.. other than this one problem I believe this version of GTA SA is perfect for the movement of mobile gaming.. I am currently playing on the iPhone 11 (standard) device and I should be upgrading soon to the 14 pro.. until then I will continue to relive the tale of CJ and updated you on another review after I upgrade.. if you have the same issue please speak up so we can work together in finding a solution🙏🏽
Relatively Immaculate
Tue Apr 23 2024 ScottDaBombI was a bit skeptical at first (I am sure along with many others) when I heard the GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition was getting a mobile port onto Netflix. I mean, the original basis of this “Definitive Edition” was built off of poorly optimized mobile ports. However, when I played this, I was pleasantly surprised how much better it is from the PC/console versions! It actually feels like a “Definitive Edition“ now. From numerous bug fixes to the addition of “classic lighting,” it is a HUGE improvement!
Honestly, the only things that would make this trilogy truly amazing is remaining bug fixes, bringing back the cut music from the original games, and fixing the rest of the poor character models and textures!
But other than that, great job Netflix (aka Video Game Deluxe)! And keep at it! Continue to pick up where Rockstar and Gtove Street Games left off to make this Definitive Edition THE Definitive Edition!
Amazing game, many issues
Wed Jun 12 2024 OGFallonI’ll start of by saying GTA SA is one of my all time favorite games, but this definitive port doesn’t give it the justice and appreciation it deserves. Below are a plethora of issues I’ve encountered:
- lag/poor graphics: i have a powerful iPhone, but I feel the graphic abilities don’t take advantage of its potential. There needs to be improved graphic settings.
-“Black Project” mission glitch: In this mission, there’s an error where near the end once CJ lands at the location, the game freezes. I’ve reloaded my save file manually, retried the mission, but nothing bypasses this issue, thus making it impossible to complete. PLEASE FIX ASAP!
-Rockstar accounts: While I know this is a Netflix-required game, I think there should also be an option where we can login to our rockstar accounts and save through that cloud instead of/in addition to the Netflix cloud.
-No achievements: this edition doesn’t have achievements, which takes away from the motivation to hustle for 100%. Console and PC include achievements, mobile deserves them too and I’m struggling to comprehend why this wasn’t implemented initially.
To conclude, the developers need to fine-tune this mobile port as there are many issues that take away from the user experience, please update asap so it’s a more enjoyable gameplay for me and everyone else who’ve spent our hard-earned money for this lackluster product. Thanks.
Buggy
Sun May 26 2024 totallyfrozenThey call it “Definitive”, but maybe defective is more accurate. The game is fun, but it’s buggy. I’m on an iPhone 14 Pro Max with iOS 17.4.1, I should not be having problems. On the mission where CJ and Ryder breaking into the National Guard warehouses, CJ has to shoot a control box on a wall to open the gate. The box was there for my first few attempts. Then one time I decided to shoot the guard through the gate rather than climbing over the wall first. That made the control box disappear. No matter how many times I try to quit the game and restart it, the box is gone so there’s no way to open the gate. That means there’s no way to do the mission. At least it’s not Vice City. Vice City completely crashed my iPhone and I had to do a reset to recover it.
It crashes every time I enter
Tue Aug 13 2024 ProfKnowMaybe it’s just me, but I like games I can actually play. Every time I enter, it crashes for some reason. Example: I go past the credits and into the game menu. This is where you hit play. But for me, it just crashes. I have a really good phone, so I know the problem isn’t on my side. I can only play it once and the next time I enter, it crashes. I literally have to uninstall and reinstall just to play the game. The only reason it’s 2 stars instead of one is because before this issue started, it was one of my favorite games. Now it’s just a big waste of time, effort and thought. Please fix this. I want to actually play this game. And stop making it crash randomly. I know this game was made in the early 2000’s, but updates exist for a reason.
Bugs need fixing
Sat Jan 20 2024 KingBigDiAs a fan of the original game, I do not mind condensed version, but I have a few complaints. My first complaint is that I do not like playing an FPS 60. It’s too slow in the graphics. Do not work well or hold up to the modern phone standards. My second complaint is that the game constantly shut down and stop working when you tried to save after getting to a certain point. Three I don’t like the lack of options when it comes to controlling the contrast and brightness and other settings of the games, I want to be able to enjoy my favorite GTA game and not have to deal with the offset concentration. Overall, the game is pretty good, but needs work a lot of work before it will be great.

Tue Aug 19 2025 ApStarr32I played this game all the time when it first came out on ps4 and enjoyed playing very much, so when I saw that it was available through Netflix I jumped on the opposite to play again. I have been having some technical difficulties with gameplay and have not been able to get my issue resolved after trying any possible troubleshooting methods I know myself I spoke with CS which only gave me the option of the methods I tried or he told me that my connection was weak. I am playing with my home WiFi connection which is very strong and I even played with the basic cellular data. Someone please tell
Me how to get this lady to come out the burning building so I can move right along I have saved her at least 50 times without prevailing!!!
