Giant Rush is the poster child for everything wrong with current mobile trends. It’s a game played on autopilot. You slide left and right to pick up colors, which is a task a trained pigeon could accomplish. Then you tap a button at the end to 'fight,' which has all the depth of a wet paper towel.

There is no sense of accomplishment here. The game is designed to provide tiny squirts of dopamine through bright colors and 'level up' sounds, all while funneling you toward the next 30-second commercial. It’s not a game; it’s an engagement machine. I gave it a few extra points because the color-switching adds a tiny bit of interaction, but let’s be real: this is junk food for your eyes.
