★★★★★ Super addicting and fun!

I recently downloaded High Seas Hero and began playing immediately. The game starts with minimal explanation, which made it a bit challenging to understand initially. However, once I familiarized myself with the mechanics, I found it to be quite straightforward and enjoyable. Additionally, the music enhances the overall experience. The music is awesome and adds to the experience! I love that there are no random ads popping up, and it doesn’t feel pay-to-win, which is a huge plus. There are tons of things to collect, which can get a little confusing, but it keeps the gameplay interesting. Just when you think you’ve figured it all out, there’s more to discover! The only thing I’m not a big fan of is the live chat being right there while I play—it’s a little distracting. But overall, this game is super addicting, and I’ll definitely be playing it a lot!

★★★★★ Buggy Game + Money Focused Goals from a spender POV

Very fun game when you are in the number 1 guild in your server. I’m top 5 in my server and the top 20-50 are in the same guild. The reason being is that spenders are rewarded more by being in the same guild. Guild member interactions are fun and the main thing keeping me hooked in the game, along with the discord community. However this leads to the top guild destroying the server, because you have the best players in 1 guild and even then the balancing of pvp allows a higher leved player decimate a whole guild aka 1v80. For example a lvl 25 base is capable of fighting off 80 players that have lvl 21 bases. The cons are mainly the bugs, there are so many you can write a book. I recommend joining the discord, just to scratch the surface on how many. The dev team have made a good effort in correcting bugs recently, but there is just so many that it is hard to catch with the pace of fixing bugs and releasing new content. Management needs to have devs focus on fixing a lot of bugs, but currently are very clearly focused on prioritizing money over a quality game. Also the dev team is facing waves of chargebacks from spenders and lose the claims, because they are essentially selling you an apple, then when you receive the apple, it’s spoiled. Overall: Really great foundation of a game design, but the way it is being managed is leading it to be a dying game.

★★★★★ Extremely p2w. These types of games are so predatory

At first the game seems fun and its nice to get stronger and see numbers go up. However once you get to a certain point in the server it ultimately comes down to who ever paid the most wins and can do anything they want to anyone without any repercussions. The server I played in was constantly being attacked by people who have spent hundreds if not thousands of dollars and most people ended up quitting the game because no one could defend themselves and their bases were constantly being burned to the ground. There is no way anyone can defend themselves if they are being attacked by pay to win players. This type of game is just extremely predatory and the developers know what they are doing. Like most mobile games, they only cater to those that give them the most money. In addition there are plenty of bugs and exploits that have not been addressed by the developers but honestly that isn’t my biggest gripe with the game, Its the pay to win factor. I am tired of falling for the trap of these types of games and I highly recommend looking into a game with these sort of elements before you drop any sort time or money on it. Unless you are willing to drop a ton of money on this game to keep up with all the other whales, just avoid this one all together. Trust me.

★★★★★ Latest update ruined the game

This game had been pretty fun and interesting up until the latest update. They introduced a new mechanic where in order to upgrade your forge you need specific engine level upgrades. This has entirely destroyed the pace of the game for me and I am about to quit alongside many in my guild. The engine requirements are insane, I currently cannot upgrade until my engine is at level 18, it is currently at 15. Every individual upgrade will take over 48 hours to complete, before I can even start that I have to upgrade other ship components multiple times that will add up to about a days worth of time. This has to happen between every engine level upgrade, now - instead of working towards earning money which has basically been made useless - it will take me over a week of literally waiting and not being able to play the game before I can marginally increase my forge performance by .5% This decision is actually insane and gives the impression that the developers genuinely dont like you if you dont spend money on the game to bypass this new obstacle. Worst decision they could have possibly made, if it is reversed then the game would easily be a 4.5/5

It’s simple. This is a simple game, you build your boat from this fledgling dingy to a star destroyer. Slaying all manner of mechanical kaju to proceed further and gain even greater strength. So why is it that I can’t use the auto farming feature? All because I have a too many Arena tickets? This is the dumbest thing ever. I have been stuck at over 2,000+ Forge Energy all because of this wall of content. I have drastically decreased my frequency of this game due to this. It’s a simple fix. JUST GET RID OF IT. Why are you forcing me to play another part of your game if I am simply trying to get better equipment for my ship? IT MAKES NO SENSE. I would rather a reminder of my exceeding amount of Arena tickets than a full stop on my forge. This game is good but this feature you added is bugging me so much I have completely put off playing the game even when I have all the time in the world to play. Please, I beg change this it makes no sense. Mark of fact, just decrease how often Arena tickets are given. Please change this. Thank you.

After a year of releasing this game, I feel like this game can be on the top ten easily, but there are some things that we need to know one of them is a advertisement there are a lot of differences between what's the advertise and what does the actual gameplay look like even in the App Store when you're looking for this game the pictures that shows it totally different from the game please so that maybe become a problem but overall this game is fun addicting and interesting. I see futures I see pupils liking it and what I like about this that even by purchasing stuff in the game, you won't be more powerful than others. All you have is your own effort and the way you play. So my final messages keeps this game up and we have to bring new ideas to keep this game alive almost every game needs this but this one gotta be more special. Thanks.

★★★★★ Double charges, constant rework of purchased items

This game was decent when I began playing 4-5 months ago, before I knew how bad it actually was. Firstly, when you purchase any item, beware of possible double charges. And because the charges are grouped together and have such vague names without dates, it’s hard to notice at first. The developers bank on players not noticing & dealing with grouped purchase notifications. Secondly, you can spend however much money you’d like on this game, it won’t matter in 2 months when they rework the entire thing & refuse to give you compensation for useless items. Thirdly, this game is predatory with how they offer items for purchase. They have items RIGHT NEXT TO EACHOTHER with different pricepoints, making it look like you’re getting a larger quantity for more money, when in reality you’re getting the same quantity. This game is extremely predatory & they no longer have a working, official discord which makes it now almost impossible to get any information on how to correctly play the game, the official FAQ is worthless. Spend your money elsewhere
