Idle Aircraft Carrier is a satisfying and surprisingly detailed entry into the 'incremental tycoon' genre. It takes the complex logistics of a modern naval vessel and turns it into a rhythmic loop of upgrades and automation. Watching your deck go from an empty runway to a bustling hub of activity—with jets taking off and landing in perfect sync—is incredibly satisfying.

The game does a great job with visual progression; as you upgrade the hangar, flight deck, and weapons systems, you can actually see the ship become more formidable and 'busy.' While it follows the standard idle formula of 'tap to earn and spend to automate,' the military theme and the specific mechanics of managing aircraft types add a unique flavor. It’s the perfect 'background' game—ideal for leaving open while you do other things, checking in every few minutes to launch a new squadron and buy a massive deck upgrade.

I don't mind an idle game when I'm busy with other things, but Idle Aircraft Carrier is barely a game. It is a cynical loop designed to make you watch ads every thirty seconds. You buy a runway, you click a plane, you watch an ad. You want to upgrade? Watch an ad. It’s exhausting. The simulation elements are surface-level at best. There is no strategic depth here; you aren't managing a fleet or considering logistics. You are simply watching numbers go up so you can see the next 3D model.

For someone who appreciates military history or engineering, this is a letdown. The models are okay, but there’s no sense of scale or impact. It’s an impression farm, plain and simple. Even the menus feel like they were slapped together to house the 'Watch Ad' buttons. I’ve seen better idlers on Flash websites twenty years ago. If you value your time, you won't spend it here.
