Social deduction games are a dime a dozen post-2020, and this one doesn't do much to stand out. It’s essentially a digital version of 'Spyfall' or 'Undercover.' The app itself is just a facilitator—it passes the phone around and provides the words. Because of this, it’s hard to give it a high score for 'gameplay' when the players are doing 90% of the work. The UI is clean enough, and the word categories are varied, but it lacks the polish or unique mechanics of something like the Jackbox series. It’s useful if you’re at a party and forgot to bring a deck of cards, but as a standalone piece of software, it’s quite minimalist. It’s a tool, not an experience. My main gripe is the lack of any online matchmaking, though it’s billed as a 'party' edition, so that’s expected.
