Dinsun Review
I’m tired of zombies, you’re tired of zombies—the industry has beaten this horse to death and back again. But Infect Them All 2 at least has the decency to let you be the one doing the biting for a change. It’s an arcade game through and through. You run into a crowd, you mash buttons, and you watch the screen turn red. It’s cathartic in a very primal, 'I have ten minutes to kill' kind of way.
The graphics are a sort of stylized, big-headed cartoon gore that keeps it from being too grim, but the animation is stiff. The controls are a bit slippery, which makes dodging the gun-toting humans more of a chore than a challenge. It lacks the polish of a top-tier action game, but for a mobile title from the early 10s, it’s held up better than most. The progression system—buying upgrades for your zombie—is the only thing keeping you playing, but even that starts to feel like a grind after the third or fourth area. It’s a decent time-waster, but don’t expect it to stay on your phone for more than a week.
