Sat Apr 26 2025 Fallen_AnjelI first discovered this game through pop cap? Gamehouse? Big Fish? maybe 15 years ago. It was one of the funnest games I ever played. I found it in an app about 5 to 8 years ago and while a little harder to play it was still fun.
I saw it again today in the App Store and thought I download it for fun and nostalgic reasons.
Everyone is talking about how the game crashes in level 3–4 however I can't get past the first scene because the game won't upgrade the food and I can't release more than one piece of basic food at a time and my fish keep dying.
I'm jealous that everyone can get higher than the very first screen.
So I guess it's safe to say this game is done for the app. I'll just go find it on one of my old hard drives. At least now I have a computer strong enough to actually keep the virtual tank as a screensaver. 🤣🤣
bad glitch
Thu Mar 21 2024 010101938so i got to the glitch at level 3-4 and since i paid $0.99 i decided to try to beat the level using the advice of someone who posted a review a YEAR ago (it definitely doesn’t seem like this glitch will ever be fixed anytime soon).
however, the advice DID work and i did make it past level 3-4 but it took 20 minutes 💀
if you want to try to progress past this level you have to use the whale pet and make sure you remove all your adult guppies by starvation. once you have the level 8 gun then you can have adult guppies and all the other types of fish. was it worth all the effort? probably not.
Keeps crashing at cement guy
Tue Jun 06 2023 Lilybet22Hello! Paid 99 cents for this game which honestly was worth it up until Adventure tank 3-4. Every single time the rock alien would attack the app would crash. I can’t emphasize every single time enough. I saw someone note that if you only have med/small guppies WITH the whale pet and make sure you have ZERO large fish it’s sort of a loop hole but it’s super hard to do that and while it is challenging, it’s almost impossible. Also I can’t move on to further thing until I finish adventure mode so it’s frustrating that I paid 99 cents and I’m feeling slightly gaslit. Lol, all love cause this game for real looks the exact same and is very nostalgic but it’s frustrating only because I want to continue it.

This mobile version has quite a few noticeable differences, like the art and some of the fish colors and designs, but everything else looks great! Except the crashes… once you get to adventure 3-4 and you experience the weird stone monster for the first time.. the game crashes like crazy when you try to fight it. Then when you log back in it starts the fight over?? And then keeps crashing! What the heck?? How am I supposed to continue playing if the game keeps crashing? Shame..
I don’t feel like this game is worth any money if it’s unplayable. If the Devs ever decide to fix it then I’d say buy it right up and you won’t regret it!

Tue Feb 06 2024 Disappointed3333333333Until this bug is fixed, this app isn’t worth it. I was excited to download this game as I used to love playing it on the computer as a child. However in this version, once you get to level 3-4 in adventure mode, the game will crash about halfway through the level. Nothing you do will get around the crash and you’re basically stuck there. If I could leave a 0 star review, I would. This problem has clearly persisted for quite some time as all of the reviews state this issue as well, going back to quite some time ago. Clearly the creators don’t care about the game or the users and it’s pointless to pay the 99 cents to download. Absolutely worthless game. DO NOT BUY. Reported it to apple, hopefully the issue is either fixed or the game is taken down.
Cement Alien Crashes!!
Sun Jun 04 2023 redruby23As soon as I make it to Adventure 3-4 and the Cement Alien appears, the game completely crashes every single time. I’ve tried restarting the level to see if that will fix it, and it does not. I’ve even tried using Itchy and Rufus and absolutely not touching the screen to see if that would fix the issue, and the game still force closes. I’ve grown up playing this game so that’s why I’m giving it 3 stars, but the bugs on this game is absurd and needs to be fixed immediately. The original game does not have all these bugs so it is frustrating. All the other reviews have my same exact complaints. Please fix your app so I can fully enjoy this game.
Game Crashes

I’ve been playing it a lot since downloading it but as a few other reviews mention the game crashes consistently once you reach a certain level/tank. For me it’s tank 3-4, the alien comes in and the game crashes shortly after and when I get back in the app/game the same thing happens each time so basically it’s unplayable past a certain level.
Some of the other reviews mentioning the crash are from months ago so it seems they don’t care about fixing it. Really unfortunate cause it’s a fun game but a waste of money if it’s unplayable past level 3. Until they release an update/patch for this it’s not worth buying…
How to get past 3-4:)
Sun Mar 05 2023 goldman2023Use the whale as one of the pets, it’ll shield all your small and medium fish from attack. Then make sure that you starve all your big fish before the stone alien appears every time. That’ll make it so he can’t attack anything, and gets you around the glitch. Or you can try using the bonus pet nose thingy to constantly postpone the attack until you have enough to purchase a high level gun, and kill the stone alien before he has a chance to attack.
Bug problem
Sat Aug 02 2025 🌸Lilyboo🌸Have been playing this game since a young age finally was really happy when I figured out it was on iOS. Ended up buying it and downloading it and it seems like every time I reach the stone monster the game crashes. I’ve seen a lot of reviews on it was hoping the developer can get to fixing it, but I don’t see this happening due to the fact that those reviews were from years ago of people having the same issues and it not being fixed already. Bottom line I don’t suggest buying this game.

Fri May 23 2025 Lisy_9I discovered this game when I was about 15 (I’m 30 now) and was so excited when I saw it was on the App Store! I used to play this on PC.
I couldn’t believe it only had two stars and after playing it I still don’t understand why. It’s exactly like I remember it!
Granted, it’s not amazing graphics or anything but it’s a fun game to play when you’re bored. It’s challenging enough that you want to keep playing but also fun!
