Kolori is essentially a digital version of those color swatches you find at a hardware store. If you enjoy looking at paint samples, you'll love this. For everyone else, it’s a bit of a slog. You move tiles around until the gradient looks 'smooth.' That's it. There’s no logic beyond 'does this pink look slightly more purple than that pink?'
As I get older, my eyes aren't what they used to be, and playing this for more than twenty minutes gives me a headache. There’s no 'game' here—no strategy, no clever tricks, just pure visual perception. It feels like an eye exam you have to pay for. The interface is clean, almost too clean; it feels like an app made by a tech company for an internal wellness retreat. I find the whole experience incredibly dry. It’s technically sound, but calling it 'fun' would be a massive overstatement. It’s a utility for aesthetic satisfaction, nothing more.
