Iβm reviewing this as a tool, because thatβs what it is. If you aren't playing MLB The Show on console, don't even bother downloading this. But if you are, like I am, itβs a game-changer. Being able to flip cards on the market while Iβm on my lunch break is dangerous for my productivity, but great for my Diamond Dynasty team. The interface is surprisingly cleanβbetter than the console menus in some cases.
The Face Scan feature is hit-or-miss; sometimes you look like a pro, and sometimes you look like a melted candle. But the market functionality is rock solid. Itβs a conservative, no-nonsense app that does exactly what it says on the tin. It doesn't try to be a mini-game; itβs just a bridge to your console experience. For what it is, it's excellent, though it obviously lacks any 'fun' factor for someone who doesn't follow baseball.
