The physics-based merging is consistent, which is the most important part of these games—you want to feel like a loss was your fault, not a glitchy bounce.

The progression from a tiny pit to a giant avocado is visually satisfying, and the 'clink' sound when fruits merge is top-notch ASMR. It's the perfect 'waiting in line' game. While it doesn't reinvent the wheel, its polished execution and cute art style make it one of the better fruit-merging games on the App Store right now.

The mobile market is currently drowning in these 'Suika' clones, and Merge Avocado is among the least imaginative. It takes the basic concept—physics-based fruit merging—and does absolutely nothing to innovate. The physics are janky, with fruits often vibrating or clipping through each other in ways that feel unpolished.

What truly kills the experience, as usual, is the aggressive monetization. You get an ad after every three minutes of play, often interrupting the flow of the puzzle. It’s a cynical cash-grab designed to capitalize on a viral trend. If you want this type of gameplay, go buy the original on Switch; it’s cheaper in the long run and doesn't treat your attention like a commodity to be sold to the highest bidder.
