Dinsun here. Finally, something with a bit of atmosphere. Mindkeeper doesn't hold your hand like the usual mobile tripe. It leans heavily into that H.P. Lovecraft vibe—fog, tentacles, and a sense of impending dread. The fact that this can run on an Apple Watch is a technical marvel, though I prefer playing on my phone to actually see the 'stunning' portal effects they brag about.
The puzzles are mostly environmental—pulling levers and finding keys while avoiding things that want to eat your sanity. It’s not 'hard' in the way a 90s PC adventure was, but it requires a modicum of thought. It’s short (50 levels go by quickly), but it’s a cohesive experience. No ads, no 'energy' systems, just a game you pay for and play. That alone earns it a higher mark in my book.
