Neon Chrome is a fantastic cyberpunk roguelite that feels incredible on mobile. The twin-stick controls are tight, and the destructible environments are a blast to tear through. Every time you die, you can use your earned credits to upgrade your stats or unlock new 'slayer' classes, which makes the 'permadeath' feel like actual progress.
The neon-soaked atmosphere and synthwave soundtrack are spot on. It captures that 80s sci-fi vibe perfectly. The levels are procedurally generated, so it never feels repetitive, and the boss fights are genuinely challenging. If you want a deep, action-packed shooter with a great sense of progression, Neon Chrome is easily one of the best on the App Store.
