Odesys Spider Solitaire is a reliable, high-quality implementation of the world's most popular 'patience' game. In a sea of Solitaire apps cluttered with ads and unnecessary animations, Odesys stands out by focusing on a clean, customizable, and smooth user experience that respects the player's time and intelligence.

The app includes the standard one, two, and four-suit difficulty levels, but it goes a step further by including variations like Black Widow and Tarantula, which offer a nice change of pace for veterans. One of the best features is the 'solvable deals only' mode—there is nothing more frustrating than getting halfway through a Spider game only to realize the deck was stacked against you from the start.

The UI is highly functional, supporting both landscape and portrait orientations and allowing you to 'pinch-to-resize' the cards, which is a godsend for playing on smaller devices. The goal of Spider Solitaire is to arrange all cards into complete suits in descending order from King to Ace. Every complete suit of 13 cards is discarded automatically as soon as it is created. The board consists of 10 stacks and a stock. Moves to a stack must be made in descending order regardless of suit. Any card can be moved to an empty slot. A sequence of properly ordered cards of the same suit can be moved together.
