Best 99¢ Game on App Store
Sat May 23 2015 CaptainKeyI first discovered this franchise with Sahara, I loved it, but finished it, so I found the two other free Legends games, loved them, and finished them. I still kept on playing over and over though, even after getting three stars on every track... So I finally broke down and rummaged through my couch cushions to purchase Legends 2, assuming that it would be a little more lengthy in the career mode.
I am not disappointed.
To begin, like the other Legends games, the game is beautiful- great graphics, real time damage, graceful physics, and colorful changing backgrounds. If that were all, I would still love it. But on top of that, the gameplay is intuitive, responsive, and challenging. I have to try several times to get three stars sometimes, but I succeed. That's the key to a good mobile game- it should challenge, but not anger the player. This one features a neat rewards system too- pick up little badges to earn parts to new vehicles. Getting to them on some levels adds an extra challenge!
I couldn't wait to finish this game before writing a review, so I hope that I'm not disappointed later in the career. But at this point, I'm not sure what these guys could do to disappoint me. It's just the best side scroll driving game ever made for the App Store. Indeed, it is probably one of the best games, period.

Sun Nov 12 2017 shades the catI’d give this 10 stars if I could! First thing that got me was, “omg those graphics 0.0” seriously, the graphics are like something out of a high budget Xbox game! First level and I was hooked normally I don’t like games about cars/racing/etc but my bro dose so he got this game and since we r on da same cloud my phone got it to I thought at first “eh I’ll just delete it” then I thought; “well.. how bad can it be?” And boy was I glad I opened the app! This has gotta be the only game about cars that I like it’s super addicting and super high quality I absolutely love it! When it got to the, would u like to rate it thing or whatever I was like heck yea! Instant 5 stars! 10 if I could tho :3 and that’s all I got, Imma go back to doing stupid stunts over hills/cliffs that would certainly get me killed if it was irl XD ok bye

Awesome Game
Sun Apr 19 2015 MilkMan35One of the best games I've played on my phone, I can't put it down, the graphics are some of the most detailed, hard to believe its only .99 cents. Only problem I've got is trying to get past "Old Timer Pro Stage 3", I can't figure it out, the car don't back up fast enough to make it up the wooden platform, and have tried to find a walk through for it and can't find any yet. Till I beat it I can't go no farther. I know once I figure it out it will probably be simple, but by far the best game ever.
Great Game
Sat Jan 06 2024 Spitfire1204In my opinion, all the offroad legends games are great for the price and still hold up to this day. They may be a little short by modern games standards, with 64 tracks taking up 40-ish seconds each (especially in an era of "endless" games being the norm), but quality is certainly the favored aspect in these games and it shows. Buy and it enjoy it, simple as. It's old fashioned fun from my childhood. Thank you Dogbyte Games for these masterpieces and my childhood!
Outrageous Update!!!

Just when I thought I'd seen it all, these new insane levels will keep me busy questing after 3 stars for quite some time! Been a fan since OL1. JUST GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY ALREADY!!!
Fun, but...
Wed Nov 25 2015 s_ridenourA lot of fun early on, when the game seems to be all about high jumps and speed, but it devolves into being an exercise in frustration.
Didn't brake at the exact instant the developer intended? Can't even finish the level in time. Held down brake for 0.1 seconds too long? Can't finish the level in time. That's assuming you can even finish the level at all after such a "mistake".
You wind up replaying the same level over and over, until you've memorized the exact timings you need to finish, which isn't fun.

Tue May 12 2015 mrcommonsenseThis game is refreshingly great. It exceeded my expectations for a 99 cent game. The graphics are killer and the engine sounds are that of a NASCAR engine with open headers. Sweet! My only request is to please build in 1-2 more seconds before a car explodes for flipping over. Several times now I have been in the process of saving it because it was not stuck on it's roof and it exploded anyway. Nowhere near fire either. This is in 4X4 Warm Up with the Volkswagen buggie. Thanks!
If you want instant fun this game is NOT for you
Sat Nov 03 2018 Macondo_HondoA fun concept totally ruined by the multiple variables to control: The jump, the obstacles, the tilting, and of course the wheels break if you don't mind your landing. The developer though that all these stupid challenges could be compensated with tune-up options, around 6 variables that only the developer understand. But I am a business traveler and I don’t have the time to guess the right combination for every track. So at the end I got stuck and moved on with another game.

You can’t reset?
Fri Apr 24 2020 HhghfffI played this game years ago (and would have given 4/5 stars) but I went to play it again now, but you can’t reset it. Deleted and downloaded again. Old records still valid.
sure you can replay levels (I played years ago) but not the same as replaying.... no replay-ability
