I usually don't have patience for visual novels—most are just glorified slideshows with bad writing. But Square Enix actually put some effort into this one. The atmosphere is thick, the 360-degree backgrounds are a clever touch that adds immersion, and the writing is genuinely gripping. It’s a slow burn, which suits my temperament perfectly.

The 'meta' elements and the way it handles branching paths are sophisticated. It’s not just about clicking through text; it requires you to pay attention to the environment and the internal logic of the world. It’s a bit pricey for a mobile title, but it’s a complete experience without the usual F2P rot. My only gripe is that some of the puzzle solutions are a bit obtuse, requiring 'moon logic' that feels out of place with the rest of the grounded mystery.
