Let’s be clear: this isn’t a game. It’s a calculator with a specific skin. As someone who appreciates the tactile feel of a deck of cards, I find the trend of digitizing every aspect of the tabletop experience exhausting. The app works, I suppose. It tracks the phases and the points, but the UI looks like it hasn't been updated since the early 2010s. It’s functional but ugly.

I’ve been keeping score with a pencil for twenty years, and I’ve never had my pencil run out of battery or crash. This app feels like a solution in search of a problem. If you’re so bad at basic addition that you need an iPhone app to play Phase 10, maybe you should be playing Go Fish instead. It’s a utility that works, but I can't in good conscience recommend it when a napkin and a pen are more reliable and cheaper.
