Playroom Chase is a cute, high-energy runner that manages to stand out through its charming 'toys come to life' aesthetic. Controlling a wind-up toy as it dashes through a cluttered, giant-sized bedroom is a lot of fun. The physics feel bouncy and appropriate for the theme, and the obstacles—like falling blocks and runaway vacuum cleaners—are cleverly integrated.

It’s a straightforward high-score chaser, but the various power-ups and different unlockable toys keep it fresh for a while. It’s particularly great for younger players because the controls are very forgiving, but there's enough speed in the later stages to keep adults engaged. It won't change your life, but it's a very polished way to spend a few minutes.
