In my top 10 all-time favorites! A “must-have”! So cool & fun!
Fri Feb 23 2024 sicamore6Absolutely LOVED this game! I’ve never heard of the artist where most of the art came from, but it was such a unique take to enjoy “walking” thru his “live” artworks. Especially as a gentleman skeleton, a very cool-looking character I enjoyed very much. PLEASE, I’m begging the developer…I’m on my knees begging now LOL…please keep going! Make an add-on, or purchased content, something to let us keep going. It was such fun, but seemed to be over before I knew it. I’m not complaining…unlike some others, I don’t complain about something that is FREE. (Btw, I found it thanks to the AppUnwrapper site where it was reviewed, so I’m thankful for them including it). I’ve never played the first Touch the Artwork, it just seems like something I wouldn’t get into, because I’m not a fan of that kind of modern art. So until we get a similar sequel, or in-app purchase here…I am bowing to this developer and saying “Gracias, Merci Beaucoup, Thank You Very Much”!
Very creative game, no notes!
Wed Aug 21 2024 mortw4eI don’t normally leave reviews but this game was excellent, no notes! It basically takes you through several paintings, which you traverse to go on scavenger hunts for the characters in each piece. There’s a beautiful soundtrack, and completely free hints if anything is too tricky to find (which you can also turn off to up the game’s difficulty!). I used the hint feature roughly twice, but that’s not to say that the hidden object aspect of the game isn’t challenging. I also appreciated that the game was completely ad-free, so you never feel like your gameplay is disrupted. If I had to find a bone to pick, it would be the fact that this game only has about an hour of gameplay, because I kept wanting to play more levels. All in all, the developer and their team has done a great job with this game. I can’t wait to see what they make next!
A Very Nice Game.
Mon Feb 19 2024 Chaos Lord NyandamThere are very few words that can truly describe the beauty of this app, because not only is it sufficient and satisfyingly outstanding in all categories, such as art and writing, it has humor that sometimes got a small chuckle out of me. The audio work was stellar, and every time a tiny sound effect happened it kept me on my toes. The minigames were fun and the repairing of the damages in the paintings was very satisfying. There is a very small amount of jankiness in the movement system, but it gave it a very point n’ click adventure-esque feel. The entire game felt ethereal and it is very short and fun for a free mobile game. There were times in the paintings that caught me off guard, and the weirdness of the entire game was what really appealed to me greatly. Though this game was barely out for about an hour, it gave me a 30 minute~ experience that I will remember for a long time. Great job and great game! Thank you!
AMAZING!!
Fri Feb 23 2024 MATTY A BStarting out I would like to say that I am real and I’m not a payed review just so you know you can trust me. I love it I’m not a very in death person I don’t like poetry or art work but this game was just unimaginable for the people that are into area work and poetry there is a story line and for the people who aren’t it’s just a fun game with no adds nothing annoying short but amazing and I would prefer that the game be a little longer but not every good thing can stay for a while it was an amazing game and the message that I took from it was “You can help other people while helping yourself”
Brilliant
Fri Jan 24 2025 onyxdragon444I think this is my first ever app review, because it is that good. Absolutely brilliant and such an odd little hole in the wall game. It is challenging yet cathartic, and the art is thought provoking, uncomfortable, and mildly humorous in all the good ways. The music is beautiful- carefully chosen to fit every scene to perfection. Headphones should be mandatory, it heightens the experience on an exponential level. The little details are stunning. I urge players to appreciate the work put into this world opposed to just going through the motions of the game mechanics and objectives. What a wonderful immersive experience.
I usually tire of hidden object games, BUT…
Sat Mar 02 2024 thegolubThis one was especially creative, and the artwork was delightful. The first time I played, it was in silent mode. So I can play it again with headphones and explore the music. I kept seeing objects that I wasn’t being directed to search for, so I suspect there’s much more to this game to explore. The only reason I withheld a star is I can’t figure out why/where/which direction to go, or when a particular object will appear… but that might just be part of the plan! So I will keep playing it and see when I get a chance to look for the rest of the objects. Thanks for a beautiful, ad-free, charming game, for free!
Absolutely Brilliant!
Sat Jun 29 2024 KaiemThere’s so much to enjoy in this game - the music, the hidden objects, the puzzles, the art, the humor - everything is so well done and very unique. I didn’t want it to end. After playing through the first time, I went back and started over again just to slow down and appreciate each detail. I purchased the first game just to support the developer and while that one was good, this one is simply brilliant. I hope to see more from this developer.
Fantastic.
Mon Feb 19 2024 Sack_Of_RiceIf I could give this game more than five stars, I would. Everything about it was amazing. The array of different art pieces and classical music to match was extraordinary. The animation was smooth and giving life to oil and pastel looks. The game play was fun but challenging and there were free hints as well. There wasn’t any ads or disruptions meaning you could sit down and play. My only complaint is that I wish there were more levels so that I could play more. Bravo developers, bravo
Clever way to get me to buy the first game
Thu Mar 21 2024 alpinlapinI enjoyed this; it was a nice little exploration of a single artist that I wasn’t familiar with. I enjoyed how the paintings were spliced together and how there was a minimalist narrative running through it all. It wasn’t all that hard, but I don’t think the point of it was to be difficult. It was a nice new way to enjoy art.
Price was right too. I’m going to buy the first game now, no time for further review.
Artistically brilliant but…
Sun Jul 21 2024 NcadminAlthough I was enjoying the game, I had issues clicking the exact spot that was needed to click on and thus couldn’t move forward. I thought I couldn’t find the last mustache, but I had clicked on it hundreds of times but nothing happened. I clicked the hint button and saw that I was clicking the correct spot but it might be because I’m on an iPhone and not an iPad because I just couldn’t find the exact spot to click. Drawn with my father in law used to draw so I loved the artwork just mechanically couldn’t achieve success.
