Sat Sep 10 2022 Joe2D2As a regular player of the original, I was excited to see the game brought back, but almost immediately I was let down by the style of the game play. Requiring stamina to assemble each model was an unfortunate addition. My biggest issue besides the constant ads, is needing to redo specific models in order to collect pieces to build models in a different area in order to continue along the path. And having to redo those models almost half a dozen times just to get ONE piece out of the five required to even build the required model is a waste of time. Bring back the old mode where I could go as far as I could, without needing to repeat a past model, in one sitting. And lessen the amount of ads that I have to sit through.
The old version had a way to get app support directly instead of going through the App Store. If things improve significantly in a timely manner, I may change my review.

I have kept the old app on my phone hoping the buildings would be made available to iPhone users. I do not need diamonds etc - other than you opening the things that cost diamonds. I cannot get diamonds nor can I buy them. I just enjoyed the build. Please reply - if not I guess I will delete the app as I can get no further. Everything costs diamonds or is an “event” which it is not possible to join the event. You were opening things like Lombard Street & Jerusalem and a couple of others. I am extremely disappointed that there have been NO communication as to whether the other app has been dropped completely or if it is still available. The new one is not as enjoyable.

PLEASE Let iPhone users play the old game by OPENING THE EVENT BUILDINGs!!!! We CANNOT BUY DIAMONDS- we get as far as The Tehran section and can’t go further- can you NOT let us at least build the event buildings? I would be willing to play the DAILY & use coins like I have been. It is a waste of time now! I have the new PW on my iPad and am not as thrilled with it was the original. Because I play it on an iPhone I have not gotten any upgrades. I am now unable to go any further. Isn’t there a way you can open the event sections to iPhone players? I see all of these sections with so many models! I cannot even buy any diamonds for those Savile Row. I am playing the newest on my iPad - can’t you guys PLEASE let iPhone users do the models from events? We can’t beat anyone one or get prizes, I just want to build these items. I used the rest of the diamonds to buy New Swan Stone 😉

Sun Nov 17 2024 AshestheamazingI played this game years ago and I absolutely loved it back then when it was just building scenery that was beautiful which is calming relaxing music in the background I recently found it again and re-downloaded it trying to one get my old account back because I remember buying special sets but also thinking that I could use this with my stress and anxiety I’ve been having lately boy was I wrong this game is nothing like what I remember it’s got so many ads and new things to it that it takes away from the relaxing part that a lot of players probably enjoyed this game is a total let down a disappointment I really wish they take away all the characters and whatever they change to the original because that was the better version of this game I ended up deleting it right after I read downloaded it.
Absolute trash what it is now I feel like this game is a shell of its former version.I really wish that I was going to enjoy this game again but sadly I was mistaken

★★★★★ Basic and simple turned into complicated and annoying
Tue Nov 15 2022 mxrganizmI used to play this game when it was simple. You could pick any building you want and complete the ones in a collection to unlock a new collection. The controls were smooth and smart. There were color coded spaces for smaller blocks and there were excellent details. Now I'm stuck with this cheap, plastic-y version. I have to do all of the simple builds before I can unlock a fun, complex level. This game became the horrible, play for 1 day, ad ridden trend around it by appealing to 6-12 year olds. I would've paid money for in game currency before these trashy updates, now I wouldn't even dream of it. There's too many achievements, things to do, etc. I play complicated, long games when I want to but this was an escape for me, ruined by devs. I have never been more upset about the downfall of a game until this, this horrible monstrosity and I have never been more sad about an update. It's very rare that i find games that go downhill when updated, and it's just so sad. The entire community is sad. I know all of these negative reviews can relate and agree with me, and I doubt this or any of their reviews will make the old, good game come back. Disappointing. Seriously.

Tue Sep 13 2022 JPhunt007Much like the other reviews, I played the original game when it was basic. It was originally advertised as a similar, relaxing game to a word search puzzle. It introduced monuments and attentions from various countries which was really neat, and I enjoyed the original bonus levels where you could build a city. All you needed was to gain coins and diamonds. Plus you received a badge/award for each country you completed. Then some of the more bonus features arrived which weren’t too bad at first, but got worse along the way. Too much focus was put onto those levels instead of the actual puzzle game. Then it stopped. Now this game has been introduced which I was very excited about, hoping to get back to basics. Unfortunately, it is horrific. Too much trouble to play, needing stamina points to continue or extra bonuses. Having to watch too many ads to play. You spend more time watching ads than actual game play. And as said before, what’s with the stupid fairy theme? I didn’t even see an option for a male avatar. I want to try this game out as I really enjoyed the original, but it’s too dumb and complicated, a ghost of its former great life. I’m on the verge of just deleting it.

Mon Dec 25 2023 NeonNautilusThe puzzles (when you get to do them) are enjoyable to put together - kind of a little digital model kit for environments all over the world.
But even more than the frequency of ads that other reviews have mentioned, I’m burnt out from the constant P2W/gambling nature of many of the game’s events, most of which are run once and never again forcing players to pay up for every missing price of a collection if they should be lucky enough to come across it in the arena.
The game will have you paying for limited run monthly sets, VIP bonuses, better Arena rewards, more rolls at two different gacha areas (one substantially more expensive than the other, requiring $200+ USD to get all of its possible bonus gifts - Will you actually get all of the pieces for their limited-run sets? Who knows!), a couple additional events that amount to dice rolls, and it just… Gets old, doing it Every. Single. Month. Without any relief or way to catch back up if you ever fall behind.
Which is a shame because the puzzles *are* fun and for the most part decently. I would love to see a single-purchase version of this game, with possible DLC packs that don’t disappear forever after a month. But as it is, this game is excessively predatory and money-hungry, and probably best avoided by anyone motivated by completing collections without plenty of funds to spare.

Wed Jan 25 2023 SupermusikmanThe preview of this game isn’t even the actual gameplay. The old game was removed and replaced with this cheaply made version. The whole point of it now is just to run ads and leach money off of the user. The levels are overly simple and are cheaply made, whereas the previous game had complex and difficult levels that were much more enjoyable. Even the gameplay feels cheapened with this new game. They even make sure that you need a connection to force you to view ads. The only way to get rid of ads is by paying for it, this wasn’t the case with the original. In the old game you could access any levels you want and each level was more complex and were crafted with better effort. Unfortunately the devs pulled the game from the AppStore to prevent us from playing what used to be. I do not recommend that anyone supports this game so that developers can see that it’s not okay to make everything monetizable in a game. The preview of this game isn’t even the actual gameplay. It is of the old game.

Mon Sep 12 2022 Chihuahuagirl23When I saw the ad for pocket world 2, I got so excited I didn’t even finish watching the ad to download (I’m a former pocket world player and was so happy that it came back) but when I started to play my happiness slowly dissipated. You used to be able to post for hours, uninterrupted I might add, this brings me to the absurd amount of ads. THERE ARE WAY TOO MANY ADS. Started a new level? Watch an ad. Placed your third piece? Watch an ad. Finished the level? Watch an ad. And another maddening feature that I’m not sure if it’s limited to my device (iPhone 12) is that when I watch the ad, and after I click the “x”, the pop up asking you to download the game still pops up😡! And not even the small one at the bottom of the screen, the big one that takes up the entire screen! It also gives you the opportunity to pay $4.99 to get rid of the ads. THIS IS A SCAM. IT DOES NOT GET RID OF ADS. If you are a former pocket world player or are thinking of downloading this game, don’t.
