This is the 'fidget spinner' of mobile games. It’s barely a game. You hold your thumb down, and then you let go. That’s the entire experience. It’s clearly designed for the TikTok generation—fast, colorful, and utterly mindless. As a 40-year-old man, I find it insulting that this is categorized alongside actual games.
The 'physics' are simplistic, and the level of 'skill' required is negligible. It’s an ASMR app masquerading as a puzzle game. If I wanted to see popcorn fill a bucket, I’d go to the movies. I wouldn't waste space on my phone for a glorified progress bar. This represents everything wrong with the 'hyper-casual' market: low effort, high ad-density, and zero lasting value.
