Power Hands is a high-energy 'superhero' simulator that puts elemental powers directly in your palms. It’s a first-person arcade game where you use various hand gestures to unleash fire, ice, and electricity on waves of enemies. I've seen this song and dance a hundred times on the App Store. Power Hands attempts to capture that 'superhero' power fantasy, but it forgets to bring a game along with it. You walk into a room, tap on a few lifeless puppets, and watch them fly away with basic physics. It’s the kind of experience that keeps a toddler busy for five minutes, but for anyone who grew up with actual mechanics, it’s hollow. The elemental combinations are predictable, and the level design is practically non-existent. There is no strategy here, just mindless tapping until the level-end screen pops up to show you another ad. It’s a tech demo masquerading as a product, and frankly, we deserve better than this assembly-line content.
