Another Great Game!
Mon Jul 22 2024 Mrb731+I’ve loved almost every single game Gearhead has made and this one is just as great! Paying for no ads is a great value as it doesn’t give options to watch ads for rewards after you payed to remove ads (which is great as I love a full ad free expression. Even if you don’t want to pay the cheap price, the ads aren’t that intrusive. Also, the game itself is very fun and addicting. However, it would be nice to get a few more music tracks as the same one playing over and over gets old (and that goes for almost all the Gear Head games).
Clear the dungeon
Sun Nov 10 2024 RoletColeyA few weeks ago, I saw a video about a card game called clear the dungeon, it was just like this game, but a little different. I loved the game so much, (I still love it) that I learned 15 other solitaire games and memorized them. I was bringing my cards everywhere with me to get a quick game in, but now I can use this in case I forget my cards or if I don’t have space to play physical cards. I can now also play my favorite solitaire game with a pixel twist on the couch.
My new favorite card game!
Tue Sep 10 2024 WRS15743Wow, developers, you did everything right here! I immediately paid to remove ads and support you after my first game.
This is exactly the type of solo card game I’ve been hoping for forever. It’s easy to learn, quick to play when you have a short break, and strategic enough to stay interesting without being frustrating. It’s the kind of game you’ll pick up a lot throughout your day because it’s just so accessible and fun.
And the file size is small, it’s good on battery, and you can turn sounds and haptics on or off. The price to remove ads is super fair. And the design is just awesome. Great use of space, looks great, and thank God it’s in portrait mode! Makes it so easy to quickly play.
Thank you developers! I highly recommend this game and it deserves to be super successful!
One of the best mobile games I’ve played recently
Wed Jul 17 2024 PixlSmithThis game is everything it says it is. The simple rules are easy to learn and how to play, with a charming, short soundtrack and unique pixel graphics. Though there are only a few difficulties to play through, Royal Card Clash is the perfect time-killer when you’ve got a few extra minutes on your hands. Anyone can learn and play and improve their strategy.
Simple, yet addictive
Wed Aug 28 2024 Jake5001Great gameplay! Love hopping on for a few minutes at a time to slay those evil Royals.
Some suggestions:
- provide several soundtrack options for the user to pick, or cycle through. Love the one you have, get the whole album of that song maybe!
- allow different game modes, like one where playing different numbers of cards does different things. Like the 2 could do double damage if played against a color that it doesn’t match, a 3 could push the royal back in the queue and reveal the one beneath, “saving” a 4 could make you discard your hand to the bottom of the deck and redraw, etc
- give pre-defined levels that give me a sense of progression as I beat them
Anyway, good times!
Review and idea
Fri Jul 19 2024 DuntersnithThis game is amazing with everything being at it’s fullest potential, amazing art, great soundtrack and more, and I would hate to see it vanish under the waves of the game dev sea and die out. So I think that if the game had extra content like co op would help people stay interested longer or a storyline to keep people playing longer. Overall great game, I hope to see your game thrive.
Simple, Terrific
Tue Jan 28 2025 TheJasonautThis is such a great quick-play game! There isn't a whole lot to it, but it is pretty perfect. I really hope there can be a successor or expansion to be more robust of a game, because the mechanics/rules are excellent.
Props to the developer, I was happy to pay for 'no-ads', well deserved👍
Great game but a request
Thu Sep 19 2024 Zonk1770Well constructed game variant on a solitaire game. The developers should add a card counter for each suit that indicates how many cards of that suit are left in the deck as one plays a game. As it stands, one has to memorize this, which is a hassle for a casual game.
Fun game style but
Fri Nov 01 2024 alareyouserioustheyrelltakrnThe experience gained and leveling up is arbitrary/pointless other than to increase difficulty. After difficulty increases, there’s no point to the leveling system.
Ads after every game… really? Why not just after you lose or sth.
Plain cards, please
Wed Jul 31 2024 Dr. Zachary SmithThis is an interesting game. But the artwork is way too busy for me. Please allow an option where standard playing cards can be used.
