91/100

Shapik: The Moon Quest is a visual masterpiece that feels like a playable storybook. It’s a point-and-click adventure in the style of Amanita Design's work (like Samorost or Machinarium), relying entirely on visual storytelling and atmospheric sound design rather than dialogue. You play as a small hero exploring a world after a nuclear catastrophe, trying to find your way to the moon.

The hand-drawn art is breathtaking, with every frame looking like a painting. The puzzles are integrated naturally into the environment—you might need to help a strange creature or fix a piece of makeshift machinery to progress. It’s a short experience, but every minute is packed with wonder and detail. If you're looking for a relaxing, high-art game that you can finish in one sitting, Shapik is a perfect choice. It’s a poignant and beautiful journey that stays with you.

Dinsun Review

Dinsun here. This is a breath of fresh air. It’s clearly inspired by 'Machinarium,' and it hits all the right notes. The hand-drawn art is fantastic, and the sound design creates a thick, melancholy atmosphere that's rare for mobile games.

The puzzles are mostly logical, though a few rely on a bit of 'click everything' frustration. It’s a very short game—you’ll be done in 90 minutes—but it’s 90 minutes of genuine quality. It doesn't nag you for money or show you ads. It just tells its story through visuals and leaves you be. I respect that. It's a bit too short for a higher score, but highly recommended for adventure fans.
