Dinsun Review
I like a good tycoon game. I like a good naval battle. Putting them together sounds like a plan, but Seaport Tycoon fumbles the execution. The 'tycoon' part is your standard 'click on the building to collect gold' mobile fare—there’s no real management here, just waiting for timers. The 'battle' part is equally thin, mostly decided by who has the bigger numbers rather than any clever tactics.
It feels like a mobile game from 2016. It’s functional, and the ship models are decent enough, but it doesn't respect your time. It’s all about the 'grind or pay' loop. I’ve seen better versions of this concept done with much more depth. It’s not terrible, but it’s completely forgettable. If you want a tycoon, play SimCity or OpenTTD. If you want naval combat, play World of Warships. This middle ground is just muddy.
