Worth the quick ads
Thu Jul 03 2025 justanothermomsterThis game has everything I’ve been wanting for free with very short to the point ads. You can change the back ground color, card face and back. The traditional colors really hurt my eyes as screens already take a toll. You can drag or tap. You can do left hand mode. Unlimited undos. The games are random. Most winnable but a few ( I’ve played a decent amount now) I’ve needed another hand dealt. All in all, happy I found it. Hope it doesn’t change. If a change happens, I’d only be happy if it were that it become available for purchase to be completely ad free.
Developers just don’t get it
Thu Jun 10 2021 Richard1252Is there a single Klondike Solitaire app that doesn’t play obnoxiously loud, unmutable ads between each and every game? Apparently not, because this is the seventh or eight such I have loaded and almost as quickly deleted in the past two weeks. First, a version I had happily played for years began doing it. When it began doing this and wouldn’t stop, I sadly trashed it and installed the Microsoft app. Then THEY started. Then followed a rapid succession of several others, until this. Used to be, if you muted one ad, they all “got” it and played silently. I accept the need for ads. But the noise is unacceptable because I like to play late at night while my wife is sleeping, AND I am playing background music in another app. So I have to close this and restart the music app, because it stops playing when the game rudely seizes control of my audio. And guess what? Not only will I not purchase or install anything exhibiting such bad behavior—including this game—I am unlikely to keep it, either. Only gave one star because I could not give minus five.
Pretty Decent; it could be harder though
Wed Aug 31 2022 I Play Minecraft SometimesThere aren’t any ads (that I’m aware of) which is a huge plus when it comes to free apps. Now I don’t play any time-intensive games on my phone; I just use my phone when I’m waiting in line for something, or just to waste time. And by far this is one of my favorites; I love the game of solitaire, and let’s be real hardly anyone plays with actual cards these days. The only gripe I have is only that the games always seem to be pretty easy to complete on “random”. I’ve had other solitaire apps before, and I remember being so elated when I won because it’s a challenge. This app is mainly just for mental stimulation, not for a challenge. So would I recommend it? Absolutely. However, maybe try something else if you’re looking for a really difficult challenge.
I love FreeCell.
Tue Sep 17 2024 Cosmic7iI would give it 4 stars if the developer had the sense to charge a modest one time purchase fee and leave it as simple FreeCell and be happy knowing that he/she got money for it having been downloaded and now the user can enjoy the game and contemplation really relaxing, rather then the developer imposing their new fangled distorted thinking that relaxation is getting blasted with ads telling us to download another game your fingers racing around the game dizzy buzzing forms noise virtually turning the user into the developers slave. The FreeCell games I’ve downloaded and played over the years were great. But in the last few years the developers are inserting activity and noise constantly interrupting the game as though the developers want to be in your game not leaving you alone with your thoughts and time. God help us end users from the obsessions of today’s developers.
Works until ads TRAP you
Mon Jun 23 2025 SometimesGruntledI had a desire to play a Klondike solitaire game, so I downloaded several. I liked this one best, for a few reasons - including fast and easy gameplay, and just a few ads. (Like all such games, it does play a bunch of misleading ads that tell you you NEED to download an "updated" app. These are just lying ads, and allowing them to play is unkind AND not smart, but many games do this.)
UNTIL, that is, an ad played that is literally impossible to close. The "Close" button brings up an App Store tab, and hitting "Done" on the app store sends you back to the ad... in an endless loop, so there's NO WAY to close the ad and play another game! I guess it's time to delete this game.
Easy, fun, options
Mon Jul 28 2025 Superchristina1Ads not too bad at all. Multiple background, card face and backside choices. Offers help if you get stuck, I might try to delay the time because I’m slow and need a little more time;). You can choose 1 card draw or 3. If you can definitely win and gotten close it will finish when it’s obvious. Eventually the app will tell you it can’t be won and give you option to start over or start new game.
Can’t do horizontal, but most that do that you need to pay for. Volume is down, my little dog Lucy freaks out at game noises.
Quick and challenging
Sat May 03 2025 Two butts thirdYou can see the move but your blocked by a card that is just one step away from success. You then check out another move and while it fixes your problem at hand but again cause another block. You have to look at the whole picture to defeat the game and move forward. It can happen so fast that you have to look at all the moves moves to see if you can beat the game. Have fun!
Love this game
Sat Aug 31 2024 Sondra yorkI been looking for a good solitaire game for a long time, and I found this one and it doesn’t have any ads to bombard you while you’re playing it. I also like how you can choose an unlimited mode where you can play at your own pace. I use to play the original card version of the game from time to time and I love that there is an app that will replace the card version. Great work, keep up the good work.
Fantastic game short ads you can close!
Fri Apr 04 2025 ToonietoadGames are quicker than others. Ads are after games and less than 30 seconds I believe. Most popular game gave free hints then changed to making to watch VERY long ads no ability to close. Add magic wand with one long ad. Then you had to start getting wands several times to finish game! Saw this gave it a try and I LOVE. Simple solitarie like old pc versions. Switch now
Screaming Ads made me uninstall
Wed Jan 10 2024 jaseinatlThough you’ll probably never read this because Apple filters 1-star reviews, this game misses the mark in nearly every measure. Ads every time you change focus or win or lose a game. More ads than fun. And the ads sometimes are inescapable requiring you to force quit and restart. Then watch another ad. But the ads that start with people screaming at the top of their lungs was the last straw. This is less card game and more ads. Plus it often pops up ads that claim it’s been updated to get you to install other identical versions of the same game with different names. They have Apple fooled so avoid this app.
