★★★★★ The games needs rehauling in a lot of areas
Mon Sep 22 2025 Arizona DriverI play this game for almost two years. It evolved through most of parts, but some areas needs rehauling because people just quit playing them. Here are the areas:
1. In over a year did not see any new sharpshooting upgrades. Some people joined the game for it and quit when they finished all levels.
2. Ancient tombs. The rewards are so pitiful once you maxed those levels that most of people quit playing it.
3. Mermaids quests. Really, they are still looking for lumber and sulphur? Who the needs those anymore? They can be exchanged to RSS, but the feature can be tailored for higher levels to gather some this else, such as advanced scrolls, or green gems.
3. KvK. Many kingdoms stopped playing the feature or make deals to keep that crown. In reality, the rewards is pitiful when you actually lose troops during this game that are expensive to replace. The game offers you to get 45k troops for free, but when you lose 600k to a million t12 troops even with a deal in place many would say pass, let the opponent take the center. If we were only to get our troops back at the end of KvK, that might revigorate that game.

Thu Sep 14 2023 dreamneophyteIt starts out good, there are challenges and goals to complete and you get bonuses for completing them. Then as you progress there are less goals, less rewards, it’s takes longer to accomplish anything, this building will be upgraded in 3 days 18 hours. The stronger you get the more you get attacked, and they kill all you troops and steal all your resources and yet your wall protecting your kingdom has little damage done to it. So then you need resources to repair and upgrade your wall and the rest of your kingdom, heal your troops and and train more and you have none. So you wait for you farms and mines to collect more resources other kingdoms will attack you and steal your resources. When I saw you will get attacked I am talking about over 50 times in 30 minutes by the same person. Other apps have a limit as to how many times you can attack the same kingdom in a certain time period this app does not, I went from over 60 million grain to 1 million because I got attacked 52 times by one person and I need 102 million to upgrade my stronghold.
The part that really freaks me out is that if I copy say a web address to text to someone and then open the app I get a message saying that it would like to paste what I copied from this other app. I don’t know why I has auto-access to what I copied and tries to paste it but that makes me uncomfortable.

Sat Apr 05 2025 eternalconfusion1Yes, it can be expensive; yes, flaws are slow to be corrected; yes, the devs are constantly adjusting rewards mostly on their favor. However, you can progress without investing huge sums if money or even any money…it is just very slow. If you are in a good alliance those who choose to advance to the higher levels are looking for ways the lower strongholds can be helpful in earning event points and supporting them for the advancement of the alliance and kingdom. One of the keys to being engaged is to participate in the alliance chat…ask questions, make friends, encourage a camaraderie among alliance members…celebrate everyone’s achievements. I happen to be in a great alliance where powerful strongholds help and recognize the value smaller strongholds. So, along with the devs interest in making money which is probably inherent in most similar games, I find the support and camaraderie among the alliance members through the chat feature a positive.

Mon Aug 12 2024 Paco2000The game is free to play but pay to win. My friend spent $11,000 on this game in just 2 months time. You would think this would get you to the very best of everything but not even close. Yes you can enjoy the game for free but they quickly make the game harder and harder to play and impossible to compete. 7 months into playing we just had our first fair battle against another server. And that was because 2 of our players have spent enough money to buy a really nice car just to play this game.
You can level up your equipment but only so far without spending money. The weapon alone cost around $1,600 for the 2nd to the last upgrade. And there are 6 pieces of equipment to upgrade. Then on your heroes each one has 6 pieces of gear to upgrade. Gold is the best gear and it costs around $500 to get each piece. The developers also do not listen to your suggestions and submitting a ticket means nothing because they will do nothing about your needs. Servers die quickly as everyone realized how impossible it is to grow to a competitive level or get fair fights in events. It’s quite often that we get matchups that are like putting 8 year old football players against nfl professionals. This game has so much potential but it will take the developers caring for it to be worth it.

Sat Feb 18 2023 ted754795Good grief; you finish a challenge and expect a reward - forget it, it will cost you a $1 a level, $10 bucks for the whole challenge at the end. Everything costs money. Each week pay $5 to get rewards you have no way to earn playing with out paying. There is a very limited, basically non-existent guide to the game. I wouldn’t call it a game really - big scam really for the developers to have big pay days every day. The game shows what your teammates are buying and then you realize why your progressing so slowly. They are buying the rewards bundles and subscriptions and moving 2 levels at a time through the game. Not much of a shooting game. That takes about 5 minutes a day to do. Rest of the time spend upgrading troops and finding resources enough to upgrade troops and upgrade all the buildings and structures. Never ends. The best part, you get attacked and lose all your’re troops - you get to start all over again. Probably why half the attacks i do are on empty accts. And if you are an iOS dont expect anything. The developers dont do much game upgrading for us. Three new heros launched in last 4 months. I finally got the second one from january in mid Feb. The first one from early Jan, I don’t have it yet but I’ve been attacked by it several times. RUN AWAY.

Yet when I load the game, I find it’s more than just a little shooting game, and the latter part of the game that is not advertised, being the part that you’re building a town, we don’t find out about until we start the game. It’s a rather interesting surprise. what’s even worse is in order to play the shooting portion of the game you have to upgrade the town. Is this understandable, yes. However, when you advertise your game to show only shooting element and not the rest of it, it creates a problem because we are led to believe that this game, thanks to its ads, is nothing but a shooting game. You trick us into believing that that is what we download it and that that is what we are going to play. Hence the false advertisement. Showing us only what you want us to see is wrong. If you are going to advertise a shooting game, make sure it is a shooting game. So give us a shooting game. Make Stormshot all about the sharpshooter game and remove the town completely. that way you’re game will reflect its ads properly.

Mon Mar 20 2023 Home_School_DadDespite the images used in the game description pages, and videos in adverts for the game, this is not primarily a shooting game. The shooting part shows up to get you started and then after completing game levels. The game itself is a kingdom building strategy game with, armies, resource development and management, and PVE and PVP activity. The first few levels, as always, go pretty quickly and get you used to how things work. After that, time to build, train, recover, develop, research, etc. gets longer and longer requiring you to wait hours and then a day and then…as you advance in levels. Unless you want to spend real money for “speedups”, more resources, shields, or what have you. Graphics are great, stories are engaging, and getting into a good Alliance will help you stay alive and progress. I gave it 3 stars for “false advertising”. If intense kingdom building strategy games are your thing and you have lots of time or real money to throw away, you will love it. Otherwise…this not the game you were looking for.

The game is consistently being hacked. This is a major problem since your personal and financial data is at risk. Submitted a few complaints to Apple and they do absolutely nothing about it. They are ok with having a substandard game in their store without concern or regard for the customer. They care more about making money along side a corrupt gaming company. No efficient way of addressing or rectifying in game purchases that are not delivered. Zero customer service! They do not provide any receipts for your purchase so you rely on Apple to provide them and guess what, the receipts never match what you paid for so it’s almost impossible to to resolve issues regarding purchases. Game is riddled with racist comments and toxic personalities and once again this gaming company has no interest in addressing these issues. They have a reporting system that is just simply fake. Never seen a toxic player booted off the game. Do not let your children play this game
