Love this game
Sat Nov 25 2023 Karamel1998This is truly some of the most gorgeous work I’ve ever seen in a point and click. The puzzles are frustrating, but solvable enough that you never truly give up. The characters are entertaining and intriguing in their own right. The soundtrack and design is phenomenal and I even listen to the music while I work. I’ve been hoping for a new Grimoire game, but I’ll accept the app. I own it on every platform and have gifted it to everyone I know. Wonderful!
A fun adventure, with a story that doesn’t make sense.
Thu Oct 12 2023 JDny80This is a great adventure game, the writing is really good, the music and settings are interesting, and it’s pretty funny at some points too. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the solution to the mystery- after all the careful world building, the ending seemed contrived, forced, and a little ridiculous. The way they crammed a bunch of totally new lore into the last 15 mins of the game after the player had ‘solved’ the mystery in order to attempt to make the convoluted ending fit with the rest of the story felt really clumsy to me. I say that only because everything else was done so well, that it caught me off guard how inelegant the ending was. Despite that, I still thoroughly enjoyed the game and would recommend it to fans of adventure and mystery games.

Thu Oct 05 2023 BrendansmommyI was so excited to see that Detective Grimoire is back! I loved The Secret of the Swamp, so I had high hopes for Tangle Tower. I was not disappointed! It’s every bit as good, maybe even better than TSotS. The gameplay was pretty similar, with some fun differences thrown in. The voice actors were fantastic and the humor was legitimately funny. I do wish it was longer, but that’s just because I like it so much. I wouldn’t consider it a short game. Five stars!

Tue Nov 14 2023 CaroCaro68A fantastic game! The writing and voice acting alone are easily worth the price tag. So it’s like getting the art and puzzles for free. And the game mechanics. I had a little trouble with the last one—but might be just me. If you played the first Grimoire, this one is in the same vein but better, more polished imo. Funnier, broader, but still scoped well. A well-crafted blend of game and story and did I mention the writing and the voice acting? =)
Unsatisfactory ending
Tue Nov 14 2023 nazifakalamkay13The game has really nice graphics, great characters and good dialogue. However, the ending did not make sense and it felt too far fetched. We didn’t really solve it either as the person just admitted to the crime. It did not all come together quite as nicely you would expect in the end. I wish there was more of an aspect to come to your own conclusions and leads rather than the game constantly telling you what you need to do. With some improvements, it would definitely be a great game (hopefully a longer one)
Incredible
Mon Nov 27 2023 Kalei NCSo fun! My ONLY thing would be to have a difficulty level choice. There were times where I felt like it was a liiiiittle too easy (guiding the clues for instance).
Overall, incredible art, gripping story, great gameplay and voice acting and music, truly one of the best games I've ever played. Only behind things like BoTW for enjoyment.
Talk, talk talk
Mon Nov 06 2023 realitycheckincGood graphics. Otherwise not a true adventure. When I want to check something out by clicking on it, I just get a gabfest of boring conversation meant to be witty. Often when I click on something, I’m told to check out something else first. After a lot of this, I really did not want to click on anything! The game is extremely linear. There is no motion or perceived movement from one scene to another - you must always open the map and click on the destination you are told to visit next. And the talk, talk, talk… Much to tiresome for me.
Short but delicious

I absolutely got $5 of enjoyment from it! The character designs, animation, and music are all top-notch, and I really loved it. Highly recommend if you enjoy mysteries.
I can’t hear the game
Fri Nov 10 2023 mel_154I love this game, it’s really good, but I have an issue with the audio, I don’t know why I can’t hear absolutely nothing even with all the volume up. I play the game in Spanish, i thought that was that the reason, but no, then I change the language to English and I still don’t hear nothing. I try close and open the game again still the same.
