Dinsun Review
Everyone remembers the original Timberman—it was a simple, addictive timing game. Now they’ve tried to turn it into a side-scrolling platformer. It works better than I expected, but it doesn't reinvent the wheel. The chopping mechanic is integrated into the puzzles and combat, which is a nice touch, but the platforming itself feels a bit floaty. It captures that 16-bit vibe fairly well, though it lacks the tight level design of the games it tries to emulate. It’s a solid enough 'B-tier' platformer. I didn't hate my time with it, but I doubt I'll remember a single level a month from now. It’s a decent effort to evolve a brand, even if it feels a bit late to the party.
