Dinsun Review
I’m always interested to see what developers can do with the Apple Watch, and Touch Round is one of the better attempts. Using the Digital Crown to steer a car is a neat gimmick that actually feels pretty good. It’s tactile and responsive. But once you move past the novelty of playing a game on your wrist, there isn't much else to find. The tracks are basic, the visuals are as minimal as they get, and the sound is non-existent.
On the iPhone, the game is completely pointless. There are thousands of better racing games on the App Store. On the Watch, it’s a decent way to kill thirty seconds while you're standing in line, but even then, it doesn't hold my attention for long. It feels more like a technical demo than a finished product. I appreciate the creativity, but 'clever' doesn't always equal 'fun.' It’s a curiosity, not a staple.
