Traffic Expert is a surprisingly addictive 'micro-management' puzzle game. The premise is simple: you control the traffic lights at busy intersections to prevent gridlock and accidents. However, the difficulty ramps up quickly as you manage multiple lanes, emergency vehicles, and impatient drivers who will eventually crash if they wait too long.
The minimalist aesthetic works well, keeping your focus on the flow of cars. It's the kind of game that’s perfect for a quick commute but offers enough complexity in later levels to keep you thinking. While it lacks some of the bells and whistles of larger simulation titles, the pure 'mechanical' satisfaction of timing a perfect green-light wave is undeniable. It's a solid, relaxing yet challenging time-waster.

Traffic Expert puts you in the hot seat of city planning and road safety. Your goal is to keep the traffic flowing smoothly through increasingly complex intersections. One wrong tap or a moment of hesitation can lead to a multi-car pileup. Manage cars, trucks, and ambulances while keeping an eye on the 'impatience' meters of your drivers. With hundreds of levels and various city environments, you'll need a cool head and quick reflexes to become a true Traffic Expert.
Hundreds of challenging levels
Various vehicle types and behaviors
Simple one-tap controls
Increasingly complex intersection designs
Ambulances and fire trucks must pass through intersections immediately. They don't have impatience meters, but their delay can cost you the level. Clear a path for them even if it means letting regular traffic wait for a few extra seconds.
The key is timing. Don't just wait for one lane to clear; cycle your lights frequently to prevent cars from backing up into off-screen areas, which is an automatic game over.
A crash ends the current level immediately. You'll need to restart and find a better timing for your light changes.
