Train Conductor 2: USA is a masterclass in frantic, addictive arcade gameplay. The premise is simple: you have several tracks and several trains, and you must drag each train to its corresponding track without letting them collide. However, as the speed increases and more trains enter the screen, it becomes a high-stakes game of 'traffic-control Tetris'.

The USA theme is beautifully executed, with each level based on a real-world location (like New York City or the Grand Canyon), each introducing a unique twist to the mechanics. The NYC level, with its ghost trains, is particularly clever. It’s one of those games that requires total focus and quick reflexes, providing a satisfying 'flow state' when you manage to clear a particularly crowded screen. It’s easily one of the best action-puzzlers on the App Store.

I’ll admit, this one got its hooks in me. Most mobile 'puzzles' are just busywork, but Train Conductor 2 actually requires a brain-to-hand connection. It starts simple enough, but by the time you're managing multiple tracks in Miami with high-speed trains coming from every direction, it becomes a genuine test of skill.

The 'USA' theme is handled with a nice bit of caricature and charm. It’s got that 'one more round' quality that is so rare these days. My only gripe is that it can feel a bit unfair when the RNG packs too many trains together at once, and the difficulty spikes are more like brick walls. But for a 40-year-old who misses the intensity of old-school arcade games, this is a solid recommendation. It’s focused, polished, and doesn't waste your time with narrative filler.
